MIU – MOVING INTO UNITY
This movement practice has been developed to bring the human form — both body and ‘self’ — into alignment and harmony with the Divine Nature.
Through subtle and intentional movements, body and mind are opened, allowing the darkness — the unconscious, the blindness — to dissolve in the depths of our body-mind, so that the inner light may reunite with the Supreme Light.
The vertical connection and dimension are aligned, opened, and strengthened.
In this way, a balance arises between ‘Being’ and ‘Doing’; we cultivate greater autonomy and inner mastery, and clarity emerges within our connections and relationships in the horizontal, relational field — the horizontal dimension.
WHIRLING
By turning, you descend ever deeper into the Heart of Existence, attuning yourself to the Origin.
We become a vortex that draws in the Heavenly Light and radiates it through us.
We experience the stillness within the storm, as the axis at our center — which unites heaven and earth — awakens and blossoms into life.
CONSCIOUS TANGO
the Dance of Duality within Unity.
The Tango is a beautiful mirror, allowing us to recognize, purify, and develop both our masculine and feminine qualities and capacities. Where one often comes at the expense of the other in the dual world, they actually uplift and strengthen each other in non-dual reality.
The pure feminine and the pure masculine.
When both aspects have been refined, they can merge and empower each other — from a place of true autonomy.
SUFI DANCE & WHIRLING
In this session we explore Devotional Dance and Sufi Whirling as a form of prayer and spiritual practice, with the intention to realise intimacy with God.
SAMA – SUFI GATHERING
A devotional evening with meditation, Zikr (Sufi mantra prayer), poetry, music and chanting, tea, and shared contemplation.
“Sufism, as I know and experience it, is a mystical calling to fall in love with the Source of life — the ultimate Beloved. It is the response to the longing of the Source Itself to meet Itself within your heart and to merge with it. It is the love relationship between the human being and the Divine, their reunion and union — the realization of the Oneness of all Being.
To realize this Union, a combination of complete surrender and active devotion is required: the letting go of oneself and unwavering fidelity to the absolute Truth — and nothing but that.
It is a path of ego dissolution — not by denying or destroying the ego, but by letting it fall in love with God and with life itself as one single Being — with existence in all its forms and creatures. The Sufis are one in worship with God, and with all living beings in God.
The Sufi brings his or her individual form wholly into alignment with the Will of the Source, seeing it as a gift to be polished and made to shine so that it may become a mirror of the Divine.”
