Weekly dancing on Wednesdays:
We are happy to announce that Kaap will transform into a stage for Ecstatic Dance every Wednesday. This Wednesday the 22th of January we are happy to dance with DJ YARL! This is an invitation to immerse yourself in a world of music, dance and free self-expression in a unique free space in Amsterdam (With free parking). A place to be yourself and to connect with yourself and with each other.

DJ YARL, also known as Jarl Hector, is a captivating DJ who invites festival-goers on a transformative musical journey. With a fusion of genres and cultural styles, he creates an eclectic mix that spans from luscious downtempo, tribal IDM, soul-piercing techno, infectious QGOM, to breakbeats, mind-bending house, and outer- worldly world music. DJ YARL's sets are a vibrant palette of songs and sounds, taking the dance floor on a joyous exploration of self-discovery. Get ready for an exhilarating experience that will uplift your spirit and make your body move in pure bliss.

Ecstatic Dance Guidelines:
Ecstatic dance is a magical dance and music journey on a two-hour set by one of our DJ’s. It is both a journey with yourself and with each other, without talking. This allows you to go deeper into your body and make more and better contact with it. This is one of the essential differences with a normal dance or club night. Because you do not fall into talking or chitchat, you can literally end up on another layer or in another dimension and discover other parts of yourself and others. At times even in total ecstasy and bliss, without drugs and without alcohol, and barefoot. Free to dance alone or together. Will you come and create magic with us, play and experiment?
Practical
* Time: Doors open at 18:15 for a delicious fresh veggie soup (not mandatory, but definitely worth it!). The dance starts at 19:45 and lasts two hours.
* Ceremony: Each session will be introduced and concluded with a ceremony at 7:15 PM, with which we can celebrate the energy of dance and the connection with each other.

* Tickets: €20,- via hipsy or at the door (via QR code, so via smartphone)
* Soup: €9.00 to be paid at the bar and served until 19.30u.
* Extras: Enjoy an atmospheric fire pit outside (when it's not raining) and the opportunity to relax in the sauna and take a cold shower (please bring your own towel). In addition, we have some surprising extras that you must experience for yourself!
