ABOUT LOVE KITCHEN
Shailoh Phillips
Shailoh has been cooking with love for festivals, groups and gatherings for over 20 years. She prepares tasty healthy soul food from scratch, with a balance of flavors, textures and colors from food cultures around the world. Instead of working with fixed recipes, she improvises with the qualities offered by local seasonal organic vegetables, fruit, nuts, seeds and pulses. The dishes are inspired by the More with Less Cookbook from her Mennonite heritage, Mediterranean cuisine and Ayurvedic principles she studied in cooking classes in South India. She cares deeply about consciously sharing food and awareness of what we consume in a world with limited food resources, focusing on affordable, nutritious, socially and ecologically responsible cooking - which also looks, tastes and feels delicious! She combines eating with storytelling and rituals, reminding us of our deep connection with the earth, with other living beings and the source of life. Enjoy love in its edible form, nourishing for body, mind and spirit.

🍽️ 𝗗𝗶𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗿 - 𝗪𝗲𝗹𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗟𝗼𝘃𝗲 𝗙𝗲𝗮𝘀𝘁:
First, a sense-popping appetizer to wake up your pallet.
Then comes an array of roasted seasonal vegetables and sweet potatoes, served with harissa chickpeas, grilled olives and artichokes, dipping sauces and flatbread.
🍨 We close with a sweet piece of fresh fruit pie, seasonal fruit, and (vegan) ice cream.
