Feldenkrais to Instant Composition

Who are you? And what makes you, you?

Our experiences from the past, our surroundings, thoughts and habits shape our character and make out a great deal of how we would define ourselves. But which parts of us still serve us today and which ones do we actually not connect with anymore but still carry with us without noticing?

We will approach these question, which can be quite a long journey, with the spark that it needs in the beginning: Curiosity and listening.

Through, sensitivity, awareness, movement and imagination we will start to discover our inner and outer landscapes.
A guided Feldenkrais sequence will help us connect to the subtle part of our being and from there on we will explore through playfulness and curiosity what is alive in us at the moment and use this to compose a piece in the here and now.

This workshop is for everyone who wants to learn how to listen and accept more to what is alive in them and their surrounding. It is for those who would like to surprise themselves of their own creative output and like to loose themselves in the world of imagination.
We will work mainly from out movement, however no dance experience is necessary. Feel welcome to bring an instrument with you.


Feldenkrais Method is a somatic practice that works mostly with small and gentle movements combined with an awareness of the movement. Though creating awareness of the subtle parts of your being you are able to become aware of habitual tension that do not serve you anymore and can develop healthier movement patterns.
