Staring dreamingly into the flames, listening to the wood crackling, and letting yourself be warmed inside and out, watching the smoke travel into the sky, and sending our hopes, dreams, and prayers to the Great Mystery.
Fire continues to amaze and challenge, within us and in this world we live in. Since the beginning of time, fire has played an essential role in people's lives, both in everyday life and in ceremonies. Our ancestors in cultures all over the world knew that a sacred fire is connected to the great Fire of Life, to the fire deep within the Earth and to fires of all time...
Fire of course does not exist alone, it always needs the other elements as well.
For us this Prayer of Taliesin brings it all together

In this week of Beltane we will take the sacred fire as our way in, into the exploration what fire means to you. How can you listen to the language of fire, what does it communicate with you.
We do this in a small group of women that hear the call of the fire, that want to be the ones tending the fire.

Beltane, at the beginning of the light period of the year, is the celebration of the sacred union between the feminine and the masculine. The fire holds both energies, inviting us to appreciate the dark and destructive side of fire as much as the light, warming side. Allowing the radical, unrelenting fire that completely burns down the blocks of wood in our thinking and feeling to transform and make space. Allowing the warmth melt the ice within us so we can descend deeper into our femininity.
We invite you to come with us to the beautiful Oerboerderij in Twente on a creative fire journey. The basis are the 13 phases of the Intentional Creativity process, a process that includes writing, collage, ritual and magic. And of course there is going to be a (camp)fire, delicious food, time to be outside in nature and dance. Feeling into the flow of the midweek we will add shamanic systemic work, silent walks, womb work, and a cacao ceremony.

The price of €636.00 p.p. includes:
> Accomodation 4 nights in a fantastic old renovated spacious farm in Twente, in the middle of the forest/fields
> Shared bedroom (single bedroom has an extra cost of 50 euro)
> Tourist tax and cleaning fees.
> All meals from Monday night to Friday morning (there is plenty of room to take special dietary requirements into account, as we will cook together in a fully equipped kitchen)
> All creative materials
> Professional guidance in the creative process as well as holding space for what comes up.
> An online meeting prior to the week, where you will also receive a first exercise for the week (if you are unable to attend, we will contact you individually)
There is room for 8-10 participants.
This retreat is both in English and in Dutch, except when there are only Dutch participants.

Mijmerend in de vlammen staren, luisteren naar het knetterende hout, jezelf van binnen en van buiten laten verwarmen, kijken naar de rook die de lucht in dwarrelt en je voorstellen dat jouw dromen en verlangens het Grote Mysterie in vliegen.
Vuur blijft verbazen en uitdagen, zowel in ons als in de wereld waarin we leven. Sinds het begin der tijden heeft vuur een essentiële rol gespeeld in het leven van mensen, zowel in het dagelijks leven als bij ceremonies. Onze voorouders in culturen over de hele wereld wisten dat een heilig vuur verbonden is met het grote Vuur van het Leven, met het vuur diep in de aarde en met vuren aller tijden...
Vuur bestaat natuurlijk niet alleen, het heeft ook altijd de andere elementen nodig. Voor ons brengt deze Prayer of Taliesin het allemaal samen:

In deze week van Beltane nemen we het heilige vuur als onze weg naar binnen, in de verkenning van wat vuur voor jou betekent. Hoe kun je luisteren naar de taal van vuur, wat communiceert het met jou. En hoe stimuleert het jouw creatieve proces?
We doen dit met een kleine groep vrouwen die de roep van het vuur horen, die degenen willen zijn die voor het vuur zorgen.

Beltane, aan het begin van de lichtperiode van het jaar, is de viering van de heilige vereniging tussen het vrouwelijke en het mannelijke. Het vuur bevat beide energieën en nodigt ons uit om de donkere en destructieve kant van vuur evenzeer te waarderen als de lichte, verwarmende kant. Het radicale, meedogenloze vuur dat de blokken hout in ons denken en voelen volledig afbrandt, toestaan om te transformeren en ruimte te maken. Door de warmte het ijs in ons te laten smelten, kunnen we dieper in onze vrouwelijkheid afdalen.
Wij nodigen je uit om met ons mee te gaan naar de prachtige Oerboerderij in Twente op een creatieve vuurreis. De basis vormen de 13 fasen van het Intentional Creativity-proces, een proces dat schrijven, collage, ritueel en magie omvat. En natuurlijk is er een (kamp)vuur, heerlijk eten, tijd om buiten in de natuur te zijn en te dansen. > Gedeelde slaapkamer (eenpersoonskamer kost 50 euro extra)

> Alle maaltijden van maandagavond tot en met vrijdagochtend (er is voldoende ruimte om rekening te houden met speciale dieetwensen, wij koken namelijk samen in een compleet ingerichte keuken)
> Alle creatieve materialen
> Professionele begeleiding in het creatieve proces en ruimte houden voor wat zich aandient.
> Een online bijeenkomst voorafgaand aan de week, waarbij je ook een eerste oefening van de week ontvangt (als je verhinderd bent, nemen we individueel contact met je op)
Er is ruimte voor 8-10 deelnemers.
Deze retraite is in het Engels en het Nederlands, tenzij er uitsluitend Nederlands sprekende gasten zijn.
