Come with someone you know and learn practical bodywork techniques you can use with each other.

Discover how to work with the body using your hands, body weight, and different ways of supporting and releasing tension.

You'll both experience giving and receiving bodywork, and leave with simple tools you can continue practicing together at home.

No previous experience needed.


WHAT WE'LL EXPLORE

• How to offer bodywork without pushing or forcing
• How to use leaning and body weight instead of muscular effort
• How to work with the body and respond to what you feel
• How to listen and communicate through your hands
• How to create a shared bodywork practice you can continue at home


HOW THE WORKSHOP WORKS

We'll begin with a demonstration of the basic principles, followed by guided hands-on practice.

You'll work with the person you came with, taking turns giving and receiving. Each of you will have approximately an hour to experience each role.

There will be time for questions, exploration, and discovering what works for your own bodies.

Afterward, you'll receive a recording of the demonstrations and explanations so you can continue practicing together.


WHO IS IT FOR?

Anyone curious about learning simple, practical bodywork.

Come with your partner, a friend, a family member, or someone you feel comfortable sharing this experience with.

You don't need any previous experience with bodywork. Just curiosity and a willingness to explore.

ABOUT THE FACILITATOR

Ady Elzam is an Ilan Lev Method practitioner, professional dancer, and movement teacher. Practicing bodywork since 2011 and teaching movement and Contact Improvisation for over 15 years, his work explores the body's capacity to learn, reorganize, and discover new possibilities through touch and movement.
