The Relationship Lab
A Fresh, Radically Honest Level of Connection with Yourself and Your Partner
Facilitated by Veronique Van den Bossche & Robert Kosse
In daily life, inner defense mechanisms, stress and past hurts often create silent disconnection between partners. We react from pain, speak harshly or pull away - only to regret it later.
The Relationship Lab is a monthly sanctuary for couples to slow down, step away from daily distractions, and rediscover each other on emotional, physical, and spiritual levels. Through conscious bodywork, reflective exercises, and guided dialogue, you will learn to navigate triggers, build emotional safety and turn your partnership into a thriving space of mutual growth.
“The Relationship Lab helped us reignite the connection we thought we had lost.” — Jana & Tim
The 4-Month Journey Overview
Each monthly edition focuses on a key dimension of conscious partnership. You can join any single workshop as a standalone date-night experience or take the full 4-month journey for a complete relationship transformation.
Month 1: Fundamentals of a Thriving Connection
Laying the Groundwork for Trust, Safety & Presence
Before we can drop our guards, we need a solid foundation. In this foundational workshop, you will explore the core pillars of a resilient relationship: trust, respect, commitment, and emotional safety.
What we explore: Identifying inner defense mechanisms, staying grounded during challenges, and learning how to offer and receive love in ways that feel truly fulfilling.
What you take home: Practical tools to cultivate daily harmony, navigate friction, and build an unshakable sense of togetherness.
Month 2: Beyond Arguments — The Power of Words
Conscious Communication & Navigating Conflict
Words can build bridges or create walls. This workshop is designed to transform how you communicate, shifting from reactive arguments into deeply compassionate, honest conversations.
What we explore: The art of active, non-defensive listening, expressing core needs and emotions without blame, and dissolving conflict without losing connection.
What you take home: A shared vocabulary for hard conversations, conflict-resolution tools and the ability to feel truly heard and understood.
Month 3: Intimacy in Touch
Exploring Boundaries, Desire & Somatic Closeness
Physical closeness is essential for a thriving relationship, but true intimacy requires trust, consent and presence. This session guides you through conscious, non-sexual touch practices to deepen your physical bond.
What we explore: Communicating personal boundaries and desires with ease, exploring different dimensions of touch and cultivating deep somatic presence with your partner.
What you take home: A renewed sense of physical closeness, heightened sensory awareness and fresh ways to rekindle warmth and affection at home.
Month 4: Dreams Unlocked, Reality Reshaped
Supporting Individual Goals & Co-Creating a Shared Future
How do you build a life together when your individual dreams, goals, or speeds differ? This final workshop explores how to support each other’s personal growth - even when triggered by your partner's desires - and align on a inspiring vision for the future.
What we explore: Unpacking wishes, fantasies, and life goals; overcoming fear or envy when your partner wants to grow; and mastering the art of mutual encouragement.
What you take home: A clear, shared roadmap for your future together, deeper alignment on individual goals, and strategies to champion each other's dreams.
What to Expect in Each 1.5-Hour Session
Introduction & Intention Setting: Grounding in the space, tuning into your individual and joint intentions, and creating a safe container.
Experiential Learning & Theory: Brief, accessible insights into relationship dynamics to provide context for the exercises.
Partner Exercises: Guided, hands-on practices (touch, communication drills, reflective dialogue) done strictly with your own partner.
The Closing Room: A gentle integration exercise to slow down, share closeness, and prepare to step back into daily life renewed.
