Samhain — A Women’s Ceremony to Honour Our Ancestors

As autumn deepens and we move towards the quiet time of the year, Samhain-Dia de los Muertos invites us to pause, remember, and honour those who came before us. Traditionally celebrated as a threshold between autumn and winter, Samhain is a powerful time to connect with our ancestors, release what no longer serves us, and make space for the wisdom that comes from looking within.

This year, the Sun will be in Scorpio, bringing an invitation to explore the deeper layers of ourselves, while the Moon in Cancer may open a tender space for emotions, memories, belonging, and ancestral connection. Mars in Leo adds a spark of warmth, courage, and creative life force — reminding us that even as nature moves into darkness, our inner fire continues to burn.

This will not be an astrology workshop, but we will gently weave these seasonal and cosmic energies into our ceremony.

Together, we will create a safe and welcoming space to honour our ancestors, reflect on what we are ready to release, and connect with our own inner wisdom. We will work with breath, relaxation, meditation, voice and song, gentle movement, ritual, and sharing.

The ceremony will be held in English or Dutch, depending on the language spoken by the group.

Come as you are, and bring whatever you would like to place on our ancestral altar — a photograph, a small object, a flower, or simply a thought for someone you wish to honour.
Bring confortable clothes, meditation pillow, blanket/yoga mat,Journal & pen.
Water & thee available.
