Over dit evenement

What if, for 4 hours, nobody needed you to be the strong, knowledgeable and professional one?

What if you could be receiving, regulated, vulnerable, introspective and could let yourself truly process your experiences and focus on your SELF for a moment?

WELCOME to the shop where you don't have to work, but only can be.

If your work is other people's support, healing, growth, or care,
this workshop is for you.

You have probably built a very good radar for what everyone around you needs. You read a room before you walk into it. You notice the shift in someone's voice before they've said what's wrong. You know how to hold, regulate, contain, and stay calm while someone else falls apart.

You are a coach, a therapist, a facilitator, a caregiver, a wellness entrepreneur. Your job is to see people clearly and help them come back to themselves.

The problem is that the part of you that does this so well rarely gets turned toward you.

This workshop is not about self-care in the candle-and-journal sense. It is an experiential session, using the same depth of method you use on your clients, pointed inward for once.

WHY THIS IS DIFFERENT
from other workshops, "intervisie", "supervisie" and everything in between?

Most workshops on caregiver load are built for people who care for others informally, a parent, a partner, a friend who always checks in. That is real, but it is not your situation.

You are a trained helper. You have language for the mind's sharp analysis, embodiment work, nervous system states.

You listen, you hold space, you give your attention fully to the clients you work with.

You have probably already "done the work" in the conventional sense.
That is exactly why generic self-care content will not move you.

You need something built for people who can out-analyze most self-help material in real time, and who have built professional identities on being the regulated one in the room.

The specific occupational risk for helping professionals is this: you can become so fluent in holding other people's inner children, wounded parts, and dysregulation that you start running your own life through your professional self. You self-soothe the way you'd soothe a client. You interpret your own pain instead of feeling it. The very skill that makes you good at your work becomes the wall between you and your own material.

WHAT WILL BE WITNESSED:

Using guided introspection, body-awareness practices, group dynamics and structured reflection, not lecture, we will slow down and get precise about the part of you that heals, holds, and helps.

YOU'LL GET THE CHANCE TO NOTICE:

▪︎ What actually happens in your body when you switch into "practitioner mode," and whether you know how to switch out of it

▪︎ What that helping part is protecting you from feeling, when it's running the show off the clock

▪︎ Where your professional training and your personal defenses have quietly merged

▪︎ What it would take for you to receive the kind of presence you offer others, without immediately turning it into insight or analysis

You will not be asked to fix, diagnose, or produce a takeaway. That instinct, to make something useful out of the experience, is itself part of what we'll look at.

There will be guided group held practices, individual reflection, and optional sharing. You choose your own level of participation throughout.

WHAT YOU CAN TAKE AWAY

▪︎ You'll leave with a clearer, felt sense (not just a conceptual one) of where your helping identity ends and YOU begin. That includes:

▪︎ Recognizing the early body signals that tell you you've slipped into over-functioning

▪︎ Naming what your own healer part actually needs from you, distinct from what you give others

▪︎ A clearer line between doing your job well and using your job to avoid your own life

▪︎ Most importantly: a stretch of time where the only person you're responsible for regulating is yourself.

THIS WORKSHOP IS FOR YOU, if you:

▪︎ Work professionally in healing, coaching, facilitation, care, or wellness

▪︎ Are skilled at reading and regulating other people, and less practiced at doing it for yourself

▪︎ Have already done conventional self-help or personal therapy, and suspect there's a layer underneath it specific to your role

▪︎ Can tell the difference between insight and actual felt change, and want the second one

▪︎ Are willing to be looked at rather than to look, for a few hours

▪︎ are looking for a warm and safe-held space where your challenges, struggles and worries as a professional are truly recognized, witnessed and held.

WHEN YOU SHOULD SKIP THIS WORKSHOP:

▪︎ This is not an introduction to self-care, and it is not for people looking for tools, frameworks, or a certificate to add to their practice.

▪︎ If you're newer to this work and want foundational burnout-prevention strategies, there are gentler and more appropriate places to start.

▪︎ This session assumes you already know the theory. What it offers is the experience most helping professionals skip.

ABOUT THE SPACE

Small group, no more than 12 professionals, so there is room for real depth rather than performance.

Held by Kristina Constantina, psychosocial and couples therapist, registered counselor, ex consultant & legal counsel, founder of Kickstart You Therapy and experienced group facilitator with over 15 years of conscious professional experience. Kickstart You works from an integrative, trauma-led lens (ACT, IFS- informed parts work, somatic and nervous system regulation) built on the belief that most adult patterns are rooted earlier in life, and that real change happens at all levels of the Self, not just the insight level. Same lens, turned toward you for once.

Come as you are. No prior experience with introspective practices, somatic work, or parts work is required, only your willingness to be on the other side of the chair for a few hours.
