A warm, sober dance night in Ghent where Somatic, Ecstatic and Tantric Dance meet in one journey.
No choreography. No performance. No experience needed.
Just a safe space to slow down, meet your body, and move freely — with yourself and others.
We start with a guided somatic intro. Then DJ Sonic Sculptor takes you on a dance journey. Consent and respect hold the room.

About the dj:

DJ Sonic Sculptor (formerly known as DJ Shawnodese) was for many years a true legend and the Netherlands’ most internationally renowned psytrance DJ. Besides running his own record label ‘Mind Funk Records’ for 7 years, he shared his psychedelic magic in nearly 30 countries around the world, playing for crowds of up to 40,000 people — including mainstage slots at the world-famous Boom Festival in Portugal and Ozora Festival in Hungary.

In 2011 he decided he had done enough… until a year later he discovered Ecstatic Dance. He has now been a regular visitor for about 13 years. Ecstatic Dance has become his favourite place to fully live and share his deep passion and love for music and dance with his beloved Ecstatic Dance tribes. For him, music and dance are the most healing medicine there is. The dance floor is his temple, and the DJ booth his pulpit.

Ecstatic Dance also brought personal transformation into his life, which inspired him to give back all the love and joy he experienced on so many dance floors by returning to DJing himself. He has since played numerous sets both in the Netherlands and abroad, and has organised several Ecstatic Dance events of his own.

Address: Port Arthurlaan 33, 9000 Ghent.
Free parking nearby. Bike racks right by the entrance. Easy to reach by public transport from the city centre.
Please arrive a few minutes early to settle in quietly before we begin.
