Over dit evenement

RAPÉ CIRCLE • SEPTEMBER 6 🌿

Join us for a grounding and heart-centered evening dedicated to presence, connection, and inner clarity through the sacred forest medicine Rapé.

You're also warmly welcome to join the circle without receiving Rapé. You can simply be present for the healing music, prayers, and the shared experience of togetherness!

Facilitated by Matsini Yawanawa & Nyrah, this gathering is rooted in respect for the ancestral traditions of the Yawanawa people and offers a safe space to slow down, reconnect, and come home to yourself.

Rapé is a traditional Amazonian snuff prepared from medicinal plants and sacred ashes. For generations, it has been used by Indigenous peoples for prayer, energetic cleansing, mental clarity, emotional grounding, and spiritual alignment. When offered with respect and intention, it can support a deeper connection with yourself while cultivating presence, balance, and inner stillness.

Matsini Yawanawa began his path within the traditions of the Yawanawa people at the age of 13. He carries the living medicine of his lineage through the sacred Saitis (traditional chants), ancestral prayers, and teachings passed down by his elders. His work is rooted in preserving and sharing the wisdom of his people with authenticity, humility, and deep respect.

Nyrah is a Brazilian musician with more than 25 years of experience and a holistic therapist whose work bridges ancestral wisdom with modern approaches to healing and nervous system regulation. Raised in close contact with Brazilian healing traditions, she has deepened her relationship with sacred plants through spiritual diets, studies, and years of immersive learning with indigenous and traditional communities in Brazil, Peru, and Mexico.

Her work integrates forest medicines, somatic awareness, trauma-informed practices, breathwork, and the therapeutic power of the voice, creating a grounded, safe, and supportive container for personal transformation.

Having lived together in Ushunawa Yawanawa Village in the Brazilian Amazon and now sharing this work internationally, Matsini and Nyrah combine their knowledge to create experiences that honor the living indigenous tradition while offering participants a conscious, ethical, and integrative approach to personal healing and self-discovery.

The Yawanawa are an Indigenous people from the Brazilian Amazon whose traditions, songs and prayers have been passed down for many generations.

Their chants are sung in their native language and carry the wisdom and spirit of the forest. In recent years, Yawanawa families have traveled around the world to share their culture, music and prayers, creating beautiful bridges between traditions and communities.

This evening offers a rare opportunity to experience these sacred songs directly from the people of the forest themselves.
