New Bodywork Group in Den Haag

Dear friends,
We would like to invite you to a new series of Bodywork group, beginning in September 2026.

Our body holds the imprint of our life experiences. It is our most direct connection to ourselves and to reality. Yet through early conditioning, psychological wounding, and trauma, many of us become disconnected from our bodies. We develop protective patterns that once helped us survive: tension, rigidity, collapse, numbness, or disconnection.

When we lose contact with our body, we often lose our sense of grounding and safety, and begin looking outside ourselves for security, fulfilment, or direction.

This group offers a space to reconnect with the wisdom of the body.

Starting on Tuesday, 15th of September, we will meet twice per month, from 19:00–21:30 CET, live in Den Haag.

Drawing inspiration from the work of Reich, Lowen, and Marcher, the evenings will include:
- body awareness and developmental work
- breathwork
- expression and movement
- safe and conscious touch
- Gestalt-based exercises
- space for personal sharing and integration

In a supportive atmosphere of vulnerability and respect, we will explore the tensions, patterns, and embodied experiences we carry within us.

As we gradually release what no longer serves us, we can restore the natural flow of energy in the body, reconnect with our aliveness, and rediscover a deeper sense of grounding, presence, and authenticity.

The group will be facilitated by Adhira and Imani, facilitator and trainee at the Essential Psychotherapy Institute.

Costs
€40 per group
