A 2-day Tantra practice weekend for seasoned practitioners

INTRODUCTION

As an experienced Tantric practitioner you know by heart how liberating it is to live your truth – to be able to express yourself in the full, sharing your desires, exploring your shadows and cultivating your awareness. To be received in a safe and open space where the whole of you is truly welcome and where you can be fully present in the company of other people who are longing for freedom as much as you do.

Many of our participants wonder why it is that they spent so little time on living in that way. “Why do I forget?” “Why do I let myself be overrun by demands and restrictions again?”

You can’t blame yourself, for you are so conditioned to control your life in a certain way; it needs a shipload of courage and effort to decondition your behavior and to open up to the unfolding of life. You need to nourish yourself and be reminded of your natural state over and over again. This doesn’t mean you have to stop doing what you do in life, but with regular practice you will be able to relate to your thoughts, ideas, actions and feelings in a different way.

Over time joy, love, creativity and freedom will naturally shine forth, whatever happens.


WHAT ARE WE GOING TO DO?

Most importantly we will be together. We will experience the safe and powerful foundation of the group. We’ll have a sense of belonging.

We will explore themes like intimacy, fear, sexuality, shame, anger, desire, joy, senses, sadness….by using breath, movement, tantric structures, writing, inquiry, touch, visualisation and meditation as powerful tools. Throughout the weekend we will cultivate our awareness; resting in and trusting the space of awareness lies at the heart of everything that we will do.


FOR WHOM?

The Level Two Tantra Weekend is open to all humans.

Minimum age: 18 years.

You’re most welcome if you long to be whole, to be full and if you’re willing to courageously dive into all the misaligned concepts and ideas that keep you from being real. If you want to be intimate with all aspects of you and willing to open for intimacy with other human beings.

A prerequisite for this practice weekend is a foundational Tantra course, e.g. our Level One Tantra Training or a likewise program you attended somewhere else.

If you’re in doubt whether this weekend is suitable for you at this moment, please get in touch with Mirjam. In case you didn’t join a Level One program at House of Being, our trainer might get in touch with you about your experience and motivation for this weekend.

The weekend will be offered in Dutch or English (depending on the group).


YOUR TEACHER

Mirjam holds a master in Psychology and is trained as a coach specialized in working with language of the body. For 20+ years she studied and practiced Dzogchen (Tibetan Buddhism) mainly at Rigpa and with Jan Geurtz.

Nowadays her path lies in Śaiva Tantra, studying and practicing these profound teachings with Hareesh Christopher Wallis and Daniel Odier.

She completed the one year immersion in classical Śaiva Tantra with Hareesh and studies/practices the Kaula & Spanda Paths with her root teacher Daniel Odier
