We are DAY Collective, an Amsterdam-based artist duo, Dorota Radzimirska, and Yulia Ratman. We create intimate experiences and affirmative spaces for connecting to yourself, others, and to the environment.
We depart from the co-creation of peaceful energy and coexistence as one ecosystem. Our practice derives from a strong belief in embodied forms of knowledge and the power of consciousness. Through performative gatherings, we want to create an experience. We choreograph these gatherings, by applying tactility, wordless interactions, movement, and a minimum set of rules. As such a narrative can evolve during the process, from within each of the participants, so one learns about themselves and others intuitively. We hope to open up the heart, senses, intuition, and imagination, so that conscious loving connections to yourself and others, the feeling of oneness, and the common ground for an embodied polyvocal story can emerge.
