My name is Halina and my events are about body and voice liberation, personal development through acting. Because acting teaches as how to be a human.
Rooted in Belarusian-Ukrainian heritage and currently based in Amsterdam, I am an independent performer dedicated to embodied practices. My journey from the dramatic stage to solo and community-based projects focuses on reclaiming personal narrative through movement. My practice is informed by residencies at the Attis Theatre and Turku Arts Academy, centering on the power of performance to empower both the individual and the collective.
What I Do
Performance: I create and perform original works that explore identity, social dynamics, and human connection. My last solo interdisciplinary project is She is Growing Potatoes
Workshops & Facilitation: I lead workshops that use theater and embodiment techniques to unlock creativity, confidence, and personal power. Past participants include international communities, art exhibitions, and cultural organisations, including. "Rooting Point" at Arti Amisity, "Not Good Enough" at 4bid Gallery, ZID Theatre, etc.
Teaching & Courses: I design and deliver courses for community theater and acting, combining physical and drama techniques to enhance self-expression, storytelling, and performance skills.
