What becomes possible when we give the body more time?
Time to soften. Time to listen. Time to move beyond the surface and meet the body where it truly is.
Over the past seven years of working with bodies, I’ve become increasingly fascinated by what happens when we bring different bodywork modalities together within longer, attentive sessions. Again and again, I’ve witnessed profound shifts.
My curiosity has led me to explore not just which techniques we use, but how we create the conditions in which the body can begin to change.
Because bodywork is about so much more than technique. It’s about presence. Sensitivity. Understanding the language of the body. Knowing when to apply, when to soften, and when to simply listen.
And perhaps most importantly, allowing enough time for something deeper to unfold.
💗 Welcome to Maitrī Immersion: a four-day journey into the art of holistic bodywork, combining hands-on training with the nourishing spaciousness of a retreat.
A space to expand your toolkit, refine your touch, deepen your intuition, and explore how different approaches can weave together into a more responsive and integrated practice.
What we’ll explore together:
🌿 The art of holding space
Cultivating presence, awareness, and the ability to create a safe, grounded environment in which another person can soften and let go.
🌬️ Guiding the body into receptivity
Working with breath, visualization, and sound to support relaxation and invite the nervous system towards a state of ease.
☯️ The wisdom of Chinese medicine
An introduction to yin and yang, the five elements, meridians, reading the body, and the practice of fire cupping.
🤲🏼 The language of touch
Exploring techniques and principles from Traditional, Osteopathic, and Dynamic Thai massage, Wuo Tai, abdominal massage, Zenthai, and discoveries from my own seven-year journey with the body.
🧡 Working sustainably
Learning how to pace yourself, conserve your energy during sessions, and integrate post-session aftercare and self-cleansing practices.
🐾 And each morning…
Nourishing movement to wake up the body, reconnect with yourself, and arrive fully in the day.
This is an invitation to learn through both giving and receiving.
To experience the techniques in your own body, not just understand them intellectually. To exchange, experiment, ask questions, and discover new possibilities through direct experience.
Between the hands-on practice, shared meals, morning movement, and quieter moments of integration, there will be space to slow down, replenish, and connect.
The intention is to leave not only with new techniques, but with a deeper understanding of the body — and a renewed sense of curiosity, confidence, and creativity in your work.
✨ A small, intimate group of 8–12 people means plenty of time for personal guidance, meaningful exchange, and learning at your own pace.

From late Thursday morning until Sunday evening.
📍 Location: Monseigneur Aertsstraat 43, 5866 BG Swolgen, Netherlands
🌟 Contribution: €650–€850 on a sliding scale
Your contribution includes accommodation — a double room, available on a first-come, first-served basis, or a shared dormitory — as well as delicious, nourishing food.
