For the wild ones, the hippie ravers, and the beat seekers. This is not your average Ecstatic Dance. We mix the beauty of Ecstatic Dance with a lot more techno, tribal beats, drum & base, psytrance and trance frequencies. This evening is a sanctuary for self-expression and designed to completely lose your mind in the music.

No substances and no dance experience needed: Just your energy and presence.

We will be offering a clothing swap corner and a space for artists to sell their crafts during this event! Bring some clothes that you would like to give away and some cash! <3

Practical information:

- Please bring your own cup/bottle for the water and tea we provide.
- Other (alcohol-free) drinks are available at the bar.
- You are just as welcome to come on your own as to come with friends!

Even though you can move as freely as you want, there are some guidelines everyone must follow:
- We dance barefoot (or on socks).
- No talking on the dancefloor: Making sounds is allowed!
- No alcohol or other substances: We will provide you with as much water and tea as you need.
- No electronic devices: You can store all your devices safely in the dressing room.

Structure:
- Entry from 18:30 until 19:30 - Take this moment to land in the space (talking is still allowed here). You can drink some cacao, swap some clothes, buy some art and chill before the opening ceremony starts. DOORS CLOSE 19:30! Joining later is not possible.
- Silent space & opening ceremony with Bart & Pia from 19.30 to 19.50
- RAVING with DJ Jera from 19.50 to 21.50
- Live music with Vera from 21.50 to 22.00
- Closing circle from 22.00 to 22.05
- Chill space from 22.05 to 23.00

Please note that these times are estimates. Based on our experience, we recommend allowing an additional 15 minutes for the conclusion of the event.

The Ecstatic Rave will be hosted once every 2 months, keep an eye on our Hipsy page!

Location:
ATTENTION! The Ecstatic Rave will be hosted at Jonkvrouw Sanderijndreef 35, this is not the usual Play location you might be used to. From Utrecht Centraal you can take multiple buses that stop in front of the location.

Parking:
If you come with car, you can park your car for free at Shoppingcenter Overvecht, from there it is a 3 minute walk.

About DJ Jera: Over the past four years, Jera has been igniting dance floors across the Netherlands and Belgium with his DJ sets at Ecstatic Dances and conscious dance events. His sets are powerful, intuitive journeys designed to lift you out of your head and straight into your body.

Expect pulsating basslines, hypnotic rhythms and ecstatic drops that build and carry you deeper into the dance. From raw tribal energy to trance, reggaeton and immersive soundscapes — everything is woven into a dynamic flow that invites full release, freedom and celebration.

For me it is not just a dance, it’s a ritual where movement, connection and euphoria meet. Come ready to move, let go and lose yourself in the moment.
