Join us for an inspiring morning of movement and connection! 🌟
Be welcome and experience the Contact/Flow improvisation in an open and welcoming jam session. Jerome and guest will share a short guided warmup followed by an open jam. Usually we are accompanied by the talented musician Lina Bohn who brings a magical atmosphere to the dance floor. This time we will use the music of the breath, the textile, the rythme of our movement and the musicality of our dancing conversation as musical landscape
Contact Improvisation is a dynamic and creative dance form that invites exploration through physical contact, shared weight, and spontaneous movement. Rooted in trust, awareness, and playful curiosity, it offers a space for dancers of all levels to connect and move together.
It was pioneered in the 1970s by dancers like Steve Paxton and influenced by artists such as Nancy Stark Smith, emphasizing trust, awareness, and open-ended exploration.
