A cosmic dining journey on your plate

In today’s fast-paced world, eating consciously and in harmony with the seasons has become more important than ever. Many people are discovering the benefits of an Ayurvedic diet, while books and workshops are increasingly inspired by herbalism and green witchcraft. Because it truly matters what ingredients we consume, and with what intention.

Did you know that every herb, plant, spice, fruit, and vegetable has a planetary correspondence? By combining these ingredients under each zodiac sign, we can create a holistic gastronomic experience that nourishes not only the body, but also the mind and spirit.

Since I was a little girl, I’ve felt a deep and intuitive connection with nature. Over the years, this connection has guided me to become a lifelong student of herbology, aromatherapy, astrology, and holistic healing. Cooking, especially nourishing, plant-based cuisine, has always been a great passion of mine, along with exploring the beautiful relationship between food, drinks, and the cosmic rhythms that shape our lives.

In January 2026, I founded my concept dining experience, the Zodiac Circle, born from my love for mindful living, celestial wisdom, and the art of creating meals and drinks that nourish both body and soul. I teamed up with my wonderful caterer, Alexandra, and her team at De Groene Chef, and together we hosted our first test dinner, celebrating the zodiac sign Capricorn.

It’s a multisensory culinary experience where taste, scent, light, and ritual merge into a story you’ll want to be part of.

For Capricorn season, we served an earthy welcome drink: a whiskey cranberry sour topped with smoking cinnamon, dried blood orange, and fresh rosemary.

Capricorns are known for patience and discipline, and the starter reflected those grounded traits. Our chef prepared a fermented red cabbage salad with beetroot, blackberry, and black garlic.

Winter is all about supporting the body with wholesome, nutritious food, which continued with a black bean burger served on creamy kale risotto.

Capricorn is ruled by Saturn, and its planetary energy was reflected in the final course: a decadent dark plum panna cotta, crafted especially for the evening.

At every gathering, we create a custom loose incense blend inspired by the current zodiac sign. For Capricorn, we burned pine and frankincense resin with rosemary, orange peel, cinnamon, and patchouli.

No one leaves with an empty stomach, or empty hands. Each guest receives a farewell gift of magical items, lovingly created to rekindle the memory of this celestial dining experience long after the final course. I handcraft soy wax candles with pure essential oils, along with other small surprises to take home.

The first official Zodiac Circle event will take place in Breda on March 12 at Zuiderlicht. We will celebrate the zodiac sign Pisces with delicious food, drinks, incense, and mini-workshops. And truly, the sky is the limit: this concept can be tailored to host horoscope-themed events throughout the Netherlands.

My goal is to introduce the magic of conscious dining: eating in alignment with the seasons, planetary correspondences, and the unique energy of each zodiac sign.

Each event welcomes a limited number of guests, creating an intimate atmosphere and a deeper connection with the food, drinks, and experience.

This isn’t just for horoscope enthusiasts, it’s for anyone seeking a holistic, seasonal culinary adventure.
