Workshop by Otto Roth: The Spine

The spine takes a central role in our bodies. In this workshop we will explore the spine in movement, individually and in relation to other spines. We will sensitize the spine, massage it, move from every part of it, create eyes and hands in our spines, and take other spines for a dance!

We will close the workshop with a potluck, exchanging our experiences and sharing food. Feel free to bring what you wish to share with your fellow movers! Tea and some snacks are provided.

During the Jam we will have live music with Johannes Karst!

The Northern Jam is a new initiative by Andrea Sangiacomo and Barbara van Male that aims to support, facilitate and spread CI in Groningen and the northern Netherlands. The Northern Jam is open to complete beginners and movers from different disciplines. Diversity and minorities are encouraged.
