Tea Ceremony & Restorative Sound Bath

In collaboration with Moychay, Amsterdam's only Tea Culture Club we are combining the relaxing and nourishing properties of tea together with a deeply restorative sound bath. We will first be guided by a Tea Master through a wonderful tea ceremony and then Domi will host her fully immersive and dreamy sound bath. While you lay down and receive the healing vibrations of sound, you will have the opportunity to fully experience the relaxing and meditative properties of Tea. This is an evening for you to unwind from a busy week, relax and take a moment just for yourself.

What to expect from a Sound Bath?
Domi is a certified sound practitioner and with her instruments she holds space for you to journey deep within. During the Sound Bath Domi will play various singing bowls and other instruments whose frequencies will softly guide you to a meditative or a dream like state in which your brain waves become slower. This induces feelings of calm, helps your mind and body to relax and let go of stress and tension. You may also experience pleasant visions as your creativity increases allowing your imagination to flow freely. You may also receive deep insights or answers to matters relevat for you at the time. The sound washes over you in waves and helps to release physical pain, stored emotions and creates more space within your body by allowing for things to flow again. After a Sound Bath people often feel lighter, relaxed. and rejuvenated.

The location:
Moychay is a Tea Culture Club with a beautiful oriental interior. Upstairs, there are three rooms inspired by Chinese, Japanese and Taiwanese style Tea Ceremonies where the first part of the evening will take place. The Sound Bath will take place downstairs where the cafe space will turn into a Sound Temple.

Itinerary:
- arrive 15 minutes early (6:45pm)
- Tea Ceremony starts at 7pm hosted by Moychay
- Sound Bath hosted by Domi
- Intergartion and closing off around 9pm

What to bring:
- Please bring your own yoga mat and a blanket to cover yourself during the Sound Bath
- Warm socks :)
- You are welcome to bring any objects that are dear to you such as crystals, a journal, pen etc.
