Landing into the realms between the worlds where spirit whispers into your ears and the veils between the seen and unseen slowly disappear.
After the opening ceremony you are warmly invited to join the โsacred groundโ. Bring your favourite camping mat to lie on, a warm cover โฆ.and find yourself in a big warm โnestโ, watching the stars. (There will be chairs available for those who don't want to lie down). Being taking on a musical journey, into the realms of your soul and the darkness of the night.
Slowly slowing sinking deeperโฆ dropping the veils between the worlds, remembering.
Our true nature. Taking the visions and messages back with us into the here and now. Allowing this wisdom to settle into our systems. Welcoming you back in the circle.
After closing the ceremonial space you can stay a little longer, or leave in silence.

The Bamboo Bar is a new initiative of the Matinee-Mondiaal foundation. The idea behind this initiative is that we would like to organize beautiful mini concerts and creative evenings with real human connection in symbiosis with nature.

Elise is a certified osteopath, shamanic energy medicine practitioner and Body&Mind language coach/trainer. She has been working with people for over 20 years and runs her own healing & coaching practice in Haarlem.

His background includes regular (Hatha) yoga teaching and practice of Nada Yoga (Yoga of sound).

According to the ancient Raga system (=classical Indian music) every song (Raga) is to be performed at a designated time of the day, so that the emerging mood and energy is aligned with the natural rythm of life. Raga Chandrakauns is strongly related to the Moon's (Chandra) reflective energy and will be performed by Kees at the peak power of the Lunar body for maximum immersion in the soul of this Raga.
Kees Van Boxtel started playing the flute at an early age (6 years old). On an Indian trip in 2005 he discovered the Bansuri (Indian bamboo flute) and became entranced by the beautiful ornamentations of North Indian classical music.
Once back in Holland, he began his intensive Bansuri studies with Julia Ohrmann and Pandit Hariprasad Chaurasia at the conservatory in Rotterdam. Later he traveled to India many times to deepen his studies with Himanshu Nanda and Hariprasad Chaurasia and his disciples in Bhubaneswar.
Since 2017, he has been studying with sarod player Pandit Alok Lahiri and his son Abhisek Lahiri, who live in Howrah-Calcutta, to better understand the refined structures of North Indian classical music.
