Substance is a cultural club evening for those who prefer to disappear into the music rather than get lost in small talk or their algorithm.
Our dance floor is sacred, the sound superb and our goal is to take clubbing back to how club culture intended it: authentic connection and dance without distractions.

LINE-UP
Dizzi Geetha is a queer artist from Sri Lanka, residing in the Netherlands. Dizzi is a DJ, producer, theatre maker, composer, sound alchemist, multi-instrumentalist and ceremonial facilitator. Dizzi's music will be an epic live set built around electronic percussion to set us up for the evening.

JF Hector is an amsterdam-based DJ and moving freely across (electronic club) music genres. His sets are built around feeling rather than genre. Hypnotic techno, trance, UK garage, gqom, jungle, DnB, left field house, ambient electronics and familiar tracks can all exist in the same space.
He approaches the dance floor in waves: restraint and space flow into euphoria and release.

HOUSE RULES // by purchasing a ticket you agree upon:
-the dance floor is for dancing. conversations can happen elsewhere.
-phones stay away on the floor. no photos. no videos. some things are better left in the room.
-come sober. stay sober. alcohol and drugs stay outside.
-wear comfortable footwear to move freely in.
-we share this space.
-everyone experiences it differently. be aware of the space you take and the space you leave for others.
-move however you move. dress to dance be whoever you are.
-give people room to do the same.
-don’t assume attention is an invitation. ask before you touch. listen when someone says no. notice when someone doesn’t say yes.
-no racism. no sexism. no queerphobia. no transphobia. no ableism. no intimidation. no harassment. basically, don’t make someone else smaller so you can take up more space.
-look after yourself. look after the people around you.
-if something feels wrong, whether it happens to you or someone else, tell someone from the crew.
-what happens inside depends on everyone inside.
-lose yourself to dance
