Over dit evenement
Hi Friend, join me for another handstand adventure. Instead of jumping straight into “doing a handstand,” this time we will break the skill down into three essential parts:
how to fall, how to get up, and how to stay.
This series is designed to help you build a handstand step by step, in a way that feels safe, intelligent, and empowering — no matter your experience level. Being upside down isn’t just a physical challenge, it’s a nervous system challenge. We will focus on reducing fear and increasing awareness. You don’t need to be strong or flexible — you just need curiosity and willingness to learn.
Through specific brain and nervous system drills, you’ll learn how to orient yourself, stay present and understand what to do when you’re inverted. Can you imagine how much more mental space you will gain to balance, once your whole system feels safe because you know you will catch yourself when you fall?
Each workshop will give you different learning point and enough time to digest the material. You will gain the most out of this series by attending all three workshops (it's a deal!) but joining a single one is an option.

Step One: Learn How to Fall
March 28th 10:00-12:30
Every good plan need a good exit strategy. Falling out of a handstand is not failure — it’s a skill. From my experience, your mind plays the crucial role if it comes to doing something as scary as handstand. In this workshop, we will focus on learning how to exit from a handstand safely and calmly. By understanding how to fall, you remove one of the biggest barriers to progress: fear.
You’ll learn:
* Safe and controlled ways to come out of a handstand
* How to train your nervous system to stay calm instead of freezing
* How to trust yourself in the process

Step Two: Learn How to Get Up
April 11th 10:00-12:30
Getting into a handstand doesn’t have to feel like a jump into the unknown. Here we explore different entries and pathways into the handstand, with an emphasis on control, awareness, and choice — not momentum or force. Learning the proper technique is important so you can save your energy on the way up and make the movement feel more predictable. This workshop connects intention with action.
You’ll learn:
* Clear, repeatable ways to enter a handstand
* How to coordinate mind and body during the kick-up or entry
* How to recognize where you are in space as you go upside down

Step Three: Learn How to Stay
April 18th 10:00-12:30
How to stay still, when everything feels wobbly? Balance is not something you "hold" - it's something you interact with. In this final workshop, we focus on staying in the handstand with more clarity, control, and confidence. Yes, we will work on the shoulder and wrist strength but we will also talk about one thing often forgotten if it comes to balance - your eyes!
You’ll learn:
* How to refine awareness while upside down
* How to make small, intelligent adjustments
* How to use breath, eyes and nervous system regulation to stay longer
