Over dit evenement
From wikipedia: Jousting is a medieval and renaissance martial game between two combatants either on horse or on foot. The term is derived from Old French joster, ultimately from Latin iuxtare "to approach, to meet". The sport went in decline after the death of King Henry II in a jousting accident in 1559.
We won’t be on horseback and hopefully no kings will die this evening. Joust Mania is an open-source game where we use game controllers instead of wooden lances. The goal remains the same: be the last one standing. Move your controller too much and the light goes out. Joust is a contact game; jostle, jerk, jam, jump on your opponent to make their lance move, while keeping yours steady! Balance, dodge, dive and outsmart your opponent to be the last one standing!
