De balans in ons hart, in onze gemeenschappen, en in onze aarde; door zaden te planten voor een regeneratieve toekomst. Samen herleven we eeuwenoude wijsheid en putten we kracht uit zusterbanden. Hiermee belichamen we een nieuwe manier van leven—geworteld in solidariteit, veerkracht en wederkerigheid.

🌿 This is more than a gathering, it is a call to women who are ready to restore balance. Balance in our hearts, in our communities, and in our soil; by planting seeds for a regenerative future. Together, we revive ancient wisdom and draw strength from sisterly bonds. In doing so, we embody a new way of life-rooted in solidarity, resilience, and reciprocity.

AND for the first time this year, we gather for 4 DAYS and 3 NIGHTS, giving us more time to relax into the web of sisterhood and integrate all that we are learning.

Join us in reclaiming the WISDOM OF PLANTS, the magic of HERBS and the grace of the EMPOWERED FEMININE. Created by women, for women, this gathering invites you to reclaim the matriarch within.

✨ Cuisine Pachamama nourishes us again with 9 holistic, organic, plant-based meals that will incorporate wild harvested herbs, plants and flowers from de Uelenspieghel.

🌿 TRADITIONAL EUROPEAN MEDICINE
We'll gather to discover the traditional medical system of Europe, which dates back 2000+ years. We often turn to Ayurveda or traditional Chinese medicine, forgetting that Europe has its own roots and ancient wisdom systems, too - and that they're very relevant and useful for modern times! In this workshop we'll cover the basic tenets of TEM and how it can make our approach to herbalism more holistic and integrated.

Ivy will also offer 1:1 TEM herbal consultations:
Would you like for somebody to have a look at your health in an integrative way? Whether you're experiencing acute or chronic symptoms or whether you'd like to receive guidance on how to take care of your health preventatively, together we'll assess the different layers of your being and craft a way forward for you. She will provide you with a herbal-mineral tincture that's specifically formulated for you after the session together. Common issues she works with are digestive complaints, insomnia, menstrual issues, melancholic bouts and panic attacks.

🌿 HERBAL ALLIES FOR YOUR NERVOUS SYSTEM
You are invited to join a body-led workshop on finding herbal allies that support your nervous system. We’ll explore how the nervous system ebbs and flows and how the right herbal allies can nudge your system back into balance and create greater resilience. This is the place where somatics and herbalism meet, not in a one size fits all approach but by getting a deeper understanding of how this actually works for you.

🌿 FLOWER ESSENCES & PLANT SPIRIT COMMUNICATION
Flower essences are a vibrational medicine through which we can connect to plants and plant spirits. In this workshop, Eden will talk about plant spirit medicine, how we can connect to plants on an energetic level, and how we can build deep personal relationships with them. We will also work with a few mystery essences as an exercise in connecting to the subtle yet powerful energies of different flowers and plants.

🌿 VULVA & YONI STEAMING
In her first workshop, women will experience yoni steaming by using warm water vapor and herbs to travel to your yoniverse and truly experience the wisdom of our grandmothers through the sacred portal of your vulva.
In her second workshop we dive deep into the ancient wisdom of vulva steaming as a storytelling experience where we learn the history of vulva steaming, how ancient it is, and why we have lost this medicine here in Europe and how we can reclaim it.

🌿 MY ROSARY ~ THE ROSE FAMILY (taught in Dutch)
Make your own rosary. You’ll walk barefoot along the rose path and create your own mala using rosebuds, flowers, and berries. You’ll receive a rose blessing, a tea ceremony, and a take-home gift.

Learn how to make a foragers pouch with knotless netting.

🌿 ACTIVISM AND ANCESTRAL SKILLS
How can we reclaim natural practices that promote well being and create healthier communities? In this workshop at the Wild Roots Herbal Gathering, we look at how foraging and other ancestral skills can help us reclaim the parts of us that are affected by unhealthy systems.
A lot is going on in the world today. The feelings of anxiety, numbness, burnout and depression are known by almost everyone. Let us shed capitalism like a snake sheds her skin. Let us use our rooted feminine strength to birth something so strong, that the soil around us becomes healthy and fertile. Let us form bonds so resilient that communities are born.

🌿 THE WISDOM OF PS!LOCYBIN
This is a space to open up to the wisdom of ps!locybin. Through story, inquiry and curiosity we will create a container that will offer you a safe and warm place to meet them, and through a mytho-somatic journey you will be invited to weave a relationship with them. In this way, we will have space to share stories and ask any questions and also have a direct experience through our body, heart and mind.

🌿 RAAD VAN AARDE
This ceremony invites you to step out of your human identity. Through trancework and shapeshifting we become hollow bones and give voice to the other or more than human beings. What do oak, mugwort, owl and rock have to tell us? It strengthens our compassion, shows us how we are part of the web of life and how we can actively step into the role of guardians. Welcome to the circle.

🌿 ROARING VOICES SINGING CIRCLE
We join in silence, entering the deepest wisdom well of our wombs. To feel and listen to the voices that are always Roaring within. Soft and gentle, yet holding the strength and power to move mountains. Through singing we remember, awaken, and unite with that voice.

🌿 SINGING CIRCLE
To sing in a circle as women, (re)connect (to) our voices, our hearts and our wombs with the sound of the drum is a magical experience. Myra will hold space in the circle and lead us into song.

🌿 CACAO CEREMONY
The sacred Cacao medicine of Mother of the Waters: Our cacao is sourced from the finest Criollo beans in Peru and hand-cut with devotion by sisters on our local farm in the Netherlands. Every block is infused with love and high intention. We invite you to a heart-opening ritual where the richness of pure cacao meets the power of the breath. Through a guided cacao ceremony, sacred songs, and conscious breathing, we create a sanctuary to reconnect, ground, and celebrate the flow of life together.

🌸🌸🌸🌸 A NOTE ON BRINGING CHILDREN 🌸🌸🌸🌸

Wild Roots is a gathering devoted to creating a field where women can root into themselves beyond caretaking, beyond doing. This is an invitation for mothers to arrive on their own, to be held, replenished, and supported by the wider circle.

Little ones who are still deeply intertwined with their mothers’ bodies (breastfeeding and fully dependent children, up to around 2–3 years) are welcome within this space free of charge.
