Feel the beat. Move your body. Free your mind. This is your invitation to experience Ecstatic Dance, a space where you can dance like no one’s watching and connect with yourself, others and life in an authentic, alcohol and substance-free environment.

We’re creating a night just for you, the young ones who crave freedom and connection. Let go of stress, embrace the music, and lose yourself in the rhythm.

Let’s move together, free and from the heart. No dance experience is needed, just bring your authentic self and an open heart.

Practical information:

- Please bring your own cup/bottle for the water and tea we will provide.
- You are just as welcome to come on your own as to come with friends!

Even though you can move as freely as you want, there are some guidelines everyone must follow:
- We dance barefoot (or on socks).
- No talking on the dancefloor: Making sounds is allowed!
- No alcohol or other substances: We will provide you with as much water and tea as you need.
- No electronic devices: You can store all your devices safely in the dressing room.

Times:
- Entry at 19.00 (It's nice if you are there at 19.15. so that we can start the opening on time; from 19.30 there will be no one at the door to let you in, so joining later is not possible)
- Opening ceremony with Bart & Pia from 19.30 to 19.50
- Dance journey with DJ Faralduín from 19.50 to 21.50
- Live music with Vera from 21.50 to 22.00
- Closing circle from 22.00 to 22.10
- Chill space from 22.10 to 22.45

Please note that these times are estimates. Based on our experience, we recommend allowing an additional 15 minutes for the conclusion of the event.

Location:
ATTENTION! The Ecstatic Dance will be hosted at Biltstraat 166, this is not the usual Play location you might be used to. From Utrecht Centraal you can take multiple buses that stop in front of the location.

About DJ Faralduín: As a passionate dancer and multi-instrumentalist, Faralduín's taste in music is as diverse as it is refined. With deep lows and soaring highs, he brings joy and passion to the dance floor. A playful twist, a gentle touch, a raw explosion! Of life. Love. And Re-membrance. Faralduín weaves his talent as a musician with a musical taste as varied as nature and the human soul. His sets are marked by rich, heart-opening music—along with intimacy, silence, depth, and raw edges! Interwoven with live instrumentation and fiery delight, Faralduín rides the waves of dance, tuned as deep and as high as the dancers dare to go!

About Bart & Pia: “We are honoured to be your facilitators for this Ecstatic Dance evening and to co-create this evening together.”
- Bart: “I have been dancing Ecstatic Dance for a couple of years and for me Ecstatic Dance is a dance meditation and the perfect way to release some stress and relieve some emotions.
