Lieve mensen,

We voelen ons diep vereerd om, voor de tweede keer, deze bijzondere leden van de Yawanawa-stam te mogen verwelkomen in Nederland.

Dit is een hele mooie kans om dieper in contact te komen met de sacred medicine muziek (saitis) van De Yawanawa tribe uit het hart van het Amazonewoud.

Tuikuru en Eriya zullen ons begeleiden in de wereld van de saitis — De sacred Prayers vol voorouderlijke wijsheid en helende kracht. Ze delen de verhalen en mythes achter deze liederen en zullen deze avond vullen met fantastische live muziek.

Rapéh Cirkel

Een van de meest heilige medicijnen onder de Yawanawa is rume (ook wel bekend als rapé): een fijn gemalen mengsel van tabak met andere aromatische en medicinale planten, zoals Tsunu. Het wordt toegediend via een blaaspijp, zowel in zelftoepassing als — met veel krachtiger werking — door een spiritueel ingewijd persoon.

Rapé wordt vaak gebruikt tijdens medicijnceremonies om focus, helderheid en energetische afstemming te ondersteunen. Het kan ook op zichzelf worden gebruikt en biedt dan een diepe aarding en een herverbinding met de natuur, muziek en ons innerlijke zelf.

Met een sterke, centrerende energie wordt rume traditioneel beschouwd als een van de belangrijkste hulpmiddelen van de oude sjamanen. Het werd gebruikt om te communiceren met de geesten van het woud en om leringen te ontvangen op het pad van wijsheid.

Beautiful People,

We feel very honored to welcome for the second time these amazing members from the Yawanawa tribe in Holland! A space to delve deeper into learning about the sacred songs of this indigenous people from the Amazon Rainforest.

Tuikuru and Eriya will teach us some of the saitis (the Yawanawa name for these ritual chants) The will explain the stories and myths behind these songs. Together we will sing and enjoy these amazing live music.


Rapéh Circle

One of the most sacred medicines among the Yawanawa, rume (also known as rapé) is a finely ground preparation made from tobacco mixed with other aromatic and medicinal plants, such as Tsunu. It is blown through an applicator, either in self-application
or — with much greater power — by a spiritually initiated person. Rapé is often used during medicine ceremonies to support focus, clarity, and energetic alignment. It can also be used on its own, offering a deep sense of grounding and reconnection with nature, music, and our inner self.
With a strong, centering energy, rume is traditionally considered one of the main tools of ancient shamans, used to communicate with the spirits of the forest and receive teachings along the path of wisdom.
