How do we learn to let go, to trust other men, to go deeper in our connections?

What - as gay/bi/queer men* - holds us back from trusting one another and forming deeper intimacy?

What keeps us caught in patterns of transactional sex that we find unfulfilling?

In The Art of Surrender, you’ll get to practice building intimacy, trust, and safety with other men, so that you can finally let go into a world of pleasure, connection and bliss. We’ll use tantric massage practices, including anal massage, to practice receiving touch and pleasure, and opening up to experiences beyond the mind.

The Art of Surrender is learning how to let go of control, so we can show up more authentically. It’s allowing ourselves to be seen, so that we can embody more of our potential in the world. It’s opening up to new experiences, new feelings, and new possibilities in our erotic lives, so we can break out of the scripts and discover something truly profound.

With support and guidance, you’ll discover the bliss that’s only possible when you let down your shields and allow yourself to surrender.

By participating in this weekend, you’ll join a community of like-minded men* wanting to authentically connect, outside of the limiting scripts of mainstream gay culture.

*We warmly welcome all cis and trans men, as well as individuals with other gender identities within the queer masculine spectrum, regardless of body type, appearance, or disability.

WHAT IS SURRENDER?

Surrender is a state one can enter when we let go of our mind’s need to control our experience. Surrender can feel similar to a flow state - when we move effortlessly and thoughtlessly through our experience, moment-by-moment. In states of surrender, we can often feel more deeply - our sensations, our pleasure, and our energies. Surrender gives us access to spiritual states where we can feel held and supported, connect with our intuition, and connect with a sense of something larger than us.

In this weekend, we’ll use anal massage practices as a portal to access states of surrender. In anal massage, we get to practice receiving, being held and cared for by another, and letting go of our need to ‘do’, to be ‘active’, or to control. In order to be able to let go, we have to feel deeply safe. So we will spend significant time over the weekend building our container of trust and intimacy as a group, and helping you to feel your capacity, boundaries and limits so that you can receive in safety.

❧ You are willing to dive into a weekend that may be uncomfortable, but has the potential for huge growth and transformation
❧ No previous experience with tantric or anal massage is required


What if there’s someone there I don’t want to touch (or be touched by)?

Our events prioritise consent. You'll never be obliged to touch or be touched by anyone. We begin the event with exercises that empower you to say "no" both verbally and non-verbally. As facilitators we are here to ensure your safety, so you can have your own experience without worrying about unwanted touch.

While we encourage exploring beyond your usual preferences, it's entirely your choice. As you might in a massage, you may allow yourself to be touched or to touch someone you wouldn’t usually be attracted to. This event is about expanding your experiences beyond the workshop.
If you ever feel uncomfortable, you won't be forced to connect with anyone. Your safety is our priority.

You’re welcome to come as a solo participant or with a partner/lover/+1

The workshop runs from 10:00-18:30 on Saturday 6 December and 9:30-17:00 on Sunday 7 December

Price:

Tickets are €280 with low income tickets available for €230.

Location:

This workshop will be held at the Temple of Happiness in Amsterdam West, near the Westerpark.

The Temple of Happiness is easily accessible by bus and within walking distance to Sloterdijk station with train connections to Amsterdam Centraal and the rest of the Netherlands.

Sleeping:

The workshop doesn’t include lodging. There are numerous hotels and bnb’s in the area.


WHO'S THIS FACILITATED BY?

The event is a facilitated by Jason King. Jason is a Tantra teacher, Sexological Bodyworker and somatic sex educator. He is passionate about helping people expand their sense of what’s possible in their sex lives.
