Experience the Joy of Forró in this Summer Course Special with Bruna Azevedo! 💃
This summer, dive into the vibrant world of forró, Brazil’s joyful and soulful partner dance, with the incredible Bruna Azevedo as your guide! Whether you're new to forró or looking to refine your technique, this 4-part workshop series is your chance to explore the depth, energy, and connection of this beautiful dance.
Over four Saturdays in June & July, each session will spotlight a unique aspect of forró, offering insights suitable for both beginners and experienced dancers. Expect fun, connection, and a welcoming atmosphere that brings the spirit of Brazil to Nijmegen!

✨ About your teacher - Bruna Azevedo
Bruna discovered her passion for Forró 8 years ago while still living in Brazil. She is now the driving force behind Forró Den Haag as a teacher, producer, and community builder. Her dance and teaching blends Roots style with Forró Universitário, emphasizing comfort, communication and expression.
Bruna's classes are not only fun, but also deeply focused on the importance of offering a comfortable dance and a true connection - with your dance partner, the music, and the cultural aspects of Forró.

Forró is a vibrant and joyful partner dance originating from the northeastern region of Brazil. It’s danced to the rhythmic beats of forró music, which blends accordion, zabumba, and triangle to create a captivating and energetic sound. The dance itself is all about connection, with close partner embrace (like a hug!) that make it easy to learn and incredibly fun to dance. Forró is sure to bring a smile to your face and warmth to your heart!
