In collaboration with Amarte Funds, Steppin’ Into Tomorrow is continuing the series of intimate live performances in a fresh new space, Hidden Gem Studio in Amsterdam. Next up: MAIN.

MAIN (Jermaine Berkhoudt) is an artist whose creative journey spans roles as host, MC, sound designer, and actor. At 19, he joined the indie hip-hop label VanIeder1 (2010–2015), where he released the album Jaar vd/ Blokhoofd. As the frontman of the funk band Funky Organizers (2014–2017), he gained extensive live experience, including Popronde 2015, tours in France, and major summer festivals. With the act MCJR & Th'Acquisition, he won both the audience and jury prizes at the 2017 Sena Grote Prijs van Rotterdam, after previously placing 4th in 2011.
Following a period of growth and reflection, Jermaine returns as a solo artist under the name MAIN, introducing a fresh sound with his LEEF:TIJD EP - project that reflects on time, maturity, fatherhood, and personal evolution.

Steppin' Into Tomorrow is the musical doorway for contemporary music with an ear for today's sound. A platform and a community that provides in-depth articles, interviews, radio shows, and events to introduce you to the finest rising talent from Dutch soil and beyond.
Hidden Gem Studio was founded in 2022 with the philosophy to create a space within the city where artists can create, record and perform their unique experiences in a homelike and timeless environment.
