Are you ready to move, connect, and let go? Thanks to an amazing collaboration with the Municipality of Utrecht, we’re breaking barriers and lowering the financial threshold for young people (ages 18–29) to experience the magic of Ecstatic Dance. Join us for a transformative evening where rhythm meets freedom, and movement becomes your voice.

With the municipality's support, we’ve kept costs low without sacrificing the vibrant energy, professional soundscapes, and welcoming vibes you’ve come to expect from Ecstatic Dance.

Feel the beat. Move your body. Free your mind. This is your invitation to experience Ecstatic Dance—a space where you can dance like no one’s watching and connect with yourself and others in an authentic, alcohol and substance-free environment.

We’re creating a night just for you, the young souls who crave freedom and connection. Let go of stress, embrace the music, and lose yourself in the rhythm.

Let’s move together, free and from the heart. No dance experience is needed—just bring your authentic self and an open heart.

Practical information:

- Please bring your own cup/bottle for the water and tea we will provide.

Even though you can move as freely as you want, there are some guidelines everyone must follow:
- We dance barefoot (or on socks).
- No talking on the dancefloor: Making sounds is allowed!
- No alcohol or other substances: We will provide you with as much water and tea as you need.
- No electronic devices: You can store all your devices safely in the dressing room.

Times:
- Entry at 19.00
(It's nice if you are there at 19.15. so that we can start the workshop on time; from 19.30 there will be no one at the door to let you in, so joining later is not possible)
- Opening ceremony from 19.30 to 19.50
- Doing dances from 19.50 to 21.50
- Closing circle from 21.50 to 22.00
- Chill space from 22.00 to 22.30

Location:
ATTENTION! The Ecstatic Dance will be hosted at Oudegracht 227, this is not the usual Play location you might be used to. It's a 10 minute walk from Utrecht Central station, so it's very accessible through public transport.

This Ecstatic Dance evening is led by a facilitator and DJ who get you—they’re young, like you, and know the importance of keeping things affordable while delivering an unforgettable experience.

About DJ Faralduín: As a passionate dancer and multi-instrumentalist, Faralduín's taste in music is as diverse as it is refined. With deep lows and soaring highs, he brings joy and passion to the dance floor. A playful twist, a gentle touch, a raw explosion! Of life. Love. And Re-membrance. Faralduín weaves his talent as a musician with a musical taste as varied as nature and the human soul. His sets are marked by rich, heart-opening music—along with intimacy, silence, depth, and raw edges! Interwoven with live instrumentation and fiery delight, Faralduín rides the waves of dance, tuned as deep and as high as the dancers dare to go!

About Bart: Bart is dancing Ecstatic Dance for a few years now and has had the dream of facilitating Ecstatic Dance evenings like this one to more young people. For Bart, Ecstatic Dance is a dance meditation and the perfect way to release some stress and negative energy. He hopes more young people can experience the magic of Ecstatic Dance.
