PeaceConcerts has been organizing concerts since 2017 and in collaboration with Regenerate-delft since 2023.
She works and organizes together with musicians who have an affinity or general openness for spirituality.
They express this specifically through their music from all parts of the world.
The power of spirituality is that it gives music a deeply moving and healing dimension and forms the so-called bridge between heaven and earth.
Avi Adir
Avi Adir's music is a fusion of composition and improvisation, born from a deep connection to the vibrations of the world. His ancient Sufi spirit blends with a divine connection, creating a mystical gateway for the listener to exit their mind and enter the path of the soul and heart. With a majestic use of authentic voice and a variety of instruments, including Bouzouki, Bansuri, Duduk, and Harmonica, Avi carries his audience into a celestial realm.
His music is a magnificent free-flow sound garden that touches and inspires the listener's creativity and musicality. Avi's decades of experience as a musician have made his concerts a holistic entertainment, ranging from concert halls and festivals to yoga and spiritual events.
Farid Sheek
Farid Sheek is a talented composer and musician living in Rotterdam. Born in Isfahan, Iran in 1994, the son of a well-known Iranian musician, Farid grew up listening to the sounds of traditional Eastern music. From an early age he developed his talent for the piano and the Iranian percussion instrument the daf, in which he further specialized at the Conservatory in Isfahan.
At the age of seventeen, Farid emigrated to the Netherlands and continued his music career at the Albeda College in Rotterdam and at the Fontys Conservatory in Tilburg. There he developed as a composer.
In his compositions, Farid Sheek is known for combining Eastern and Western influences, classical and contemporary music across genres. With his music he succeeds in building bridges between different cultures and bringing people together. In his music, the traditional Persian sounds from his youth flow effortlessly into classical Western music and even contemporary music.
In 2015, Farid composed the film music for Dance Iranian Style, an Iranian-Dutch documentary that was nominated for the Dutch Film Festival and the New York Film Festival. Nowadays Farid works with big names such as Ahmad Joudeh, the Residentie Orkest and Maya Fridman and he can regularly be seen at major locations in the Netherlands and abroad. In 2022, Farid performed for the royal family at Noordeinde Palace in The Hague, which was received with praise. In addition, Farid is active in various projects, in which he continues to strive to bring cultures together through music.
Iris van der Sar
It is my passion to express myself through movement and other forms of art. After the Rotterdam dance academy, I gained years of experience as a dancer with various well-known dance companies.
As a performer, costume designer and maker, I have been expressing myself in my own company since 2004: Passar Performing Arts
In addition, I am very passionate about cultivating consciousness, learning about (self) healing and human behavior. The inner hunger to discover this has led to me being able to follow several courses in different disciplines, in order to express the art that lives within me.
I am always curious about how I can live my life closest to my essence, so I discovered whirling. During whirling I come home, the place where all my passions come together: love for Life, transformation, and making costumes.
During my first whirling journey I felt called to make this dance form my own. I am completely fascinated by it, and have been working with it daily ever since: inspired to shape this universal movement in unique ways in performances and as a transformation tool in classes and workshops.
