In our Connective Rope Workshop, you will dive into the art of slowing down with your (play)partner through the use of ropes. This workshop is not technical but rather focuses on the power of connection. You will learn how to drop your agenda and attune to your partner’s needs, desires, and responses, creating a deep sense of intimacy and trust. Through interactive exercises and discussions, you will discover the beauty of connecting through rope, and how it can enhance your play and presence.
Both single and partnered participants can join this workshop: singles will be teamed up, couples are welcome to stay together (but this is not mandatory)
During this workshop, we will:
-Explore how to slow down and connect with your (play)partner
-Discover the importance of dropping your agenda
-Explore ways to connect when using rope
-Have fun when using ropes
-Practice rope tying and connecting with your partner in a safe and consensual environment

Nico has over eight years of experience in various tantra schools and has a passion for bodywork and Shibari/Kinbaku. He is trained in non-violent communication and the proud father of two beautiful teenage boys. Nico is also a teacher who helps young people reach their creative potential.
Bri is an experienced kinkster in various dynamics and has been spaceholder at a diverse collection of kinky and tantric events (both sexual and non-sexual). Bri also works as a CrossFit coach and strongly believes in movement as medicine. One of her greatest motivations in work is teaching people how to use AND read their bodies and to take that knowledge out of the gym and into their daily lives.
Wies is renowned for her vibrant energy, insatiable curiosity, and infectious enthusiasm. Inclusivity is a core value close to her heart, and she effortlessly puts people at ease with her warm and playful personality. Simultaneously, Wies emanates strength, stability, and a sense of security, creating a supportive environment for everyone she encounters.

IMPORTANT INFO:
🧶 Rope: We will bring more than enough ropes to play with, but of course you are also welcome to bring/use your own ropes! Please bring a towel of blanket as well.
🌿 Allergies: Most of our rope is made hemp and washed many times. We do have jute rope on request.
🍫 Snacks/drinks: We will provide water, tea, sodas and snacks during the workshop.
👙 Clothing: Please wear comfortable clothing that you would like to wear for a Connective Rope workshop. You do You!

LOGISTICS:
Location: Europalaan 20, Utrecht (FREE PARKING). Entrance is behind the building.
This workshop can be attended in both English and Dutch, we will adjust and/or translate based on the participants needs.
We will send out an e-mail with all the information shortly before the event. Doors open at 19.15, we start at 19:30. After 19:30 there will be no-one to let you in so please be on time!
