In this two part ceramic workshop old Tetterode building, Amsterdam Oud-West, you will learn how to make creatures, hand build mugs, beads, pendants, strange shapes and other miraculous creations out of ceramic clay. Your collection will be fired, and two weeks later we will come together again for the second part of the workshop: glazing!
We have a rainbow assortment of ceramic glazes to choose from to make your clay babies stunning.

Ceramics is an ancient art form made up of all five elements, earth • water • fire • air • & ether.
Working with clay is extremely grounding and community building, allowing for pure creative expression. Your imagination is the limit when it comes to working with this medium!

Your hosts for this workshop are the artists Splitter Splatter (aka Iekeliene Stange) and Maia Lyon Daw.
