Take Space, enter the room, stand still, move across, feel stable and confident

In this creative dance meet-up we will explore how to use space when we move and dance. You will feel awareness traveling into every part of your body. With this embodied awareness in the present moment you will enter into a flow experiencing the space as a freeing opportunity.

You will be encouraged to take up as much or as little space as possible, and reflect on how this impacts your emotional and mental world. Then we will take this reflection into a duet play in space, taking and giving space, just like in dialogue, but in this case only with movement.

More specifically, we will start with a fun game to break the ice, then continue into a breathing ritual to raise the energy and prepare the muscles for the main part. In the main part we will explore space in solo and duet. We will finish with a relaxation and a sharing round.
