A Message from Aukai:
"Dear HeartFire family in Amsterdam,

I am looking much forward to return to Amsterdam after many years although with a different kind of concert and proposal. After many touring years traveling the globe with Mirabai Ceiba, I was longing to find a new internal and intimate journey with music. Instrumental music that would be less defined by words, and could take the listener to an inner world of individual feelings, memories and dreams.

Since then most of the music of Aukai has been created in the quietude of remote studio settings mostly wooden cabin's somewhere in nature. Now it's time to slowly bring this fragile entity live to the people in a form of deep listening concerts. My invitation is to enter a collective space of conscious listening and allow the music to take us in a subtle way to an inner place of stillness and profound arrival within ourselves as we are. 

Angelika will play harp, piano and sing, and Sylvain Rambourdin will join us on violin, I will play all kinds of guitars, charango, ronroco, and a for me very new gong like instrument which is called the bell plates."
