Contact Beyond Contact Jam - Amsterdam

Over dit evenement

🌿 Contact Beyond Contact — Open Dance Jam
A Space for Movement, Play & Connection

Come as you are, and let's meet on the dance floor! ✨

We warmly invite you to a Contact Beyond Contact (CBC) Dance Jam — an open space to move, explore, play, and connect with yourself and others through dance.

Contact Beyond Contact is a movement practice rooted in presence, authenticity, and embodied connection. It brings together elements of contact improvisation, authentic movement, somatics, and mindfulness, inviting us to discover new ways of relating and communicating beyond words.

We'll begin with a short guided introduction to arrive in our bodies, connect with the space, and explore some of the principles of CBC.

From there, the dance floor opens into a free-flowing jam, where you're invited to follow your own movement, curiosity, and impulses.

Dance alone, meet others in movement, explore giving and receiving support, play with connection and boundaries, or simply take a moment to witness and be present.

There is no choreography, no right or wrong way to move, and no expectation to interact. Just a shared space to explore, experiment, and let the dance unfold.

Whether you're familiar with CBC or curious to discover it, you're warmly welcome. 💛
