Samhain Women’s Circle: Honouring Our Roots, Welcoming Transformation

An evening of sisterhood, remembrance, release, and new beginnings.

As the veil between autumn and winter grows thinner, nature invites us to slow down, turn inward, and honour the cycles of endings and beginnings.

Join us for a sacred women’s circle inspired by Samhain, an ancient seasonal festival traditionally associated with the end of the harvest, the welcoming of the darker half of the year, and the remembrance of those who came before us.

This is an invitation to pause amidst the busyness of life, reconnect with yourself, and gather in the warmth of a circle of women. Whether you are deeply spiritual, curious about rituals, or simply longing for a moment of connection, you are welcome exactly as you are. No previous experience or particular beliefs are needed.

𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘄𝗲 𝘄𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝘀𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝘁𝗼𝗴𝗲𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿:

🌿 𝗔𝗻𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗛𝗼𝗻𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗥𝗶𝘁𝘂𝗮𝗹 & 𝗔𝗹𝘁𝗮𝗿

Together, we will create a sacred altar to honour our ancestors and remember those who have touched our lives but are no longer physically with us. Through meaningful objects, natural elements, memories, and quiet reflection, we will make space for gratitude, remembrance, and the stories that live within us. You are welcome to bring a photograph, a small object, or a written name of someone you wish to honour.

🔥 𝗦𝗮𝗺𝗵𝗮𝗶𝗻 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘀𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗖𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗼𝗻𝘆

As the trees release their leaves, we too can choose what we are ready to let go of. Through a guided moment of personal reflection, you will be invited to identify a belief, pattern, or feeling you are ready to release, and something new you wish to welcome into your life.

We will gather as witnesses to one another’s intentions, creating space for both letting go and beginning again. Through a symbolic release ritual and the power of being seen and supported by a circle, we will honour our own transformations and the possibilities waiting to unfold.

🌙 𝗔 𝗦𝗽𝗮𝗰𝗲 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 & 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲

We will open and close our gathering with moments of grounding, intention-setting, and shared presence. There will be room for silence, reflection, and sharing, always at your own pace. You are welcome to speak, listen, or simply be.

✨ 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝗮𝘀 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗮𝗿𝗲

You do not need to know the right words, have a spiritual practice, or arrive with a clear intention. You only need to bring yourself and an openness to the experience.

This circle is an invitation to honour where you come from, acknowledge where you are, and gently welcome where you are going.

𝗛𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝗶𝘀 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗹𝗼𝗼𝗸𝘀 𝗹𝗶𝗸𝗲:

Arrival from 18:00. The circle starts at 18:15.

🍂 𝗟𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 & 𝗔𝗿𝗿𝗶𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗖𝗶𝗿𝗰𝗹𝗲 — Arrive, settle into the space, enjoy a warm cup of tea, and gently transition from the outside world into our shared gathering.

🍂 𝗢𝗽𝗲𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗦𝗮𝗰𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝗦𝗽𝗮𝗰𝗲 — We open the circle with a grounding practice, set our collective intentions.

🍂 𝗔𝗻𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗔𝗹𝘁𝗮𝗿 & 𝗛𝗼𝗻𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗥𝗶𝘁𝘂𝗮𝗹 — We gather around our ancestral altar to remember and honour those who came before us.

🍂 𝗦𝗮𝗺𝗵𝗮𝗶𝗻 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘀𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗖𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗼𝗻𝘆 — Through guided reflection and journaling, we explore what we may be ready to leave behind and make space for what we wish to nurture in the coming season.

🍂 𝗖𝗹𝗼𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗖𝗶𝗿𝗰𝗹𝗲 — We offer a final moment of gratitude for the space, the women gathered, and the stories held within it. With a closing ritual and a shared breath, we gently return to the outside world, carrying the warmth of the circle with us.

We close the circle with a potluck at 21:00.

No prior experience with women's circles or seasonal festivals is required.
