Taoist Meditation with Sound

Dear tea, meditation and sound lovers,

We have the pleasure of inviting you to this culture tea house to experience a Taoist meditation accompanied by sound, after the majestic serving of team from a tea master.

The facilitators:
Teo @theSoundofHealing is a holist healer working with energy (Reiki and Pranic healing), sound and color healing and vibrational acupuncture, into individual healing sessions in Amsterdam. Teo is a certified sound healer who will bring in soothing sound to the meditiation event.

Juraj from www.taotretman.com is a Taoist enthusiast, holding space for grounding and deep meditations. With some basic knowledge about TAO/TAOISM, Juraj will respond to any questions about this old practice, before taking you through a beautiful Taoist mediation.

Teo and Juraj are both Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese medicine practitioners, working very well together.

About the practices used during the event:
--> TAO is not what words can describe… That is the beginning of the Tao Te Ching, the most influential taoist book. But nevertheless, let me try to explain what Tao is. Tao is a philosophy and a way of life garnished with a bit of mysticism. One living his or her life in line with Tao will live a healthy, happy, vital and long life. Following Tao means following nature and its principles. There is plenty of wisdom incorporated in Tao philosophy which helps in getting through challenging times by shifting perspective and paradigms.
--> SOUND, through its vibration, resonance and sound is guarantee to bring a state of calmeness, restoration and release. Using ancestral Tibetan Singing bowls, Koshi chimes and crystal bowls, the sound will accompany the Taoist meditation and conclude the evening with a short sound bath.

18 – Opening, finding your space
18:10 – Introduction – Event structure, who are we, what to expect?
18:25 – Tea ceremony led by a tea master
18:45 – TAO Meditation (theory, Q&A and guided meditation)
19:30 – Closing with sound, grounding and integrating
19:45 – Sharing
20 - Closing and visiting the shop
