MarΓa Alejandra, known in the yoga world by her spiritual name Madhavi which means βsweet as honeyβ in Sanskrit, is the founder of Madhavi: Yoga for Womenβs Health.
Her work is inspired by the intention to offer yoga teachings and resources that support women in facing daily challenges with a more open, conscious, and positive attitude. Through her guidance, students are encouraged to take greater ownership of their health and well-being, experiencing this process as a path toward empowerment and personal freedom.
MarΓa Alejandra trained as a Hormone Yoga Therapist with the experienced German yoga teacher Shakti Simone Lehner, following the method developed by the yoga therapist Dinah Rodrigues.
She also completed the training Yoga Therapy for Womenβs Wellbeing with the renowned teacher Uma Dinsmore Tuli from the UK. In addition, she holds a certificate as a Yoga Therapy Instructor from the prestigious Arsha Yoga Gurukulam in India.
Through the practice of Hormone Yoga Therapy, MarΓa Alejandra experienced a profound reconnection with her body and a rediscovery of her feminine essence, learning to honor both with deeper awareness and care. This personal journey became the foundation of her work.
Today, she shares these practices with other women, offering Hormone Yoga Therapy and other specialized techniques designed to support womenβs health. Her aim is to help women regain vitality, increase energy, and restore hormonal balance through practices created specifically for the female body.
Her teaching invites women to reconnect with their inner being and step into their lives with greater strength, balance, and self-awareness.

1. This course consists of sessions on two different Saturdays.
2. The first course commences on Saturday, 9th May from 12.30 - 17.30 - the second course commences on Saturday, 16th May 2024 from 12.30 - 17.30.
3. The course includes a short break for light lunch, please bring your own light lunch.
4. By booking on one of courses, you'll be automatically be booked for both dates of the courses.
5. Free parking up to 3 hours are available within walking distance to the studio (blue zone).
6. Cancellations with a refund in the form of credits to your Momence account for future classes/courses are available if made at least 72 hours in advance. We do not offer refunds to your bank account.
7. Cancellations made within 72 hours will not receive any refunds.
8. Wear a comfortable outfit and please bring a yoga mat (if you have one, otherwise you can use ours) and please bring a journal & a pen.
