Held in the nourishing landscape of Het Verre Oosten, this group truffle ceremony is designed as a day of deep inner reflection within a safe and accepting relational field.
Guided by curated recorded music, live hand pan, singing and sound healing instruments. It is for those who feel something wants to shift, soften, or deepen, and who are willing to meet themselves with honesty and care.

We work with truffles as a catalyst for neuroplasticity. This creates a temporary opening in which established patterns can soften and new ways of relating to inner experience become possible. Rather than forcing change or seeking specific outcomes, this ceremony is designed to support your own inner healing resources in coming forward, at a pace and depth that feels right for you.

Our approach is grounded in the understanding that there are no “bad” parts of you. Whatever arises during the journey, whether emotions, memories, bodily sensations, or inner conflicts, is welcomed as meaningful and intelligent. Instead of trying to overcome obstacles, we focus on changing the relationship to what appears, allowing clarity, acceptance, and integration to unfold naturally.

This ceremony is held by a resident, collaborative facilitation team embedded in the community of Het Verre Oosten. Beyond the ceremony itself, the land, the people, and the culture of this place offer a rare container of continuity - a relational environment that understands and supports ongoing psycho-spiritual processes, rather than treating ceremony as an isolated event.

HOW THIS CEREMONY IS HELD

We gather in a small group of a maximum of 14 participants. The ceremony is professionally held and accompanied by carefully curated recorded and live music, offering subtle guidance throughout the journey.

This work is guided with great care for psychological safety, group dynamics, and integration. Our facilitation is grounded, trauma-aware, and relational, allowing exploration without pressure or performance.

During the ceremony, each participant has their own comfortable mattress and personal space, supporting an inward journey held within a shared group field. The day is structured with minimal interaction, allowing individual processes to unfold in line with your personal intention.

While the journey is inward, it is not isolating. Moments of shared awareness and collective presence naturally arise, creating a sense of both personal depth and being held together as a group.

Previous experience with psychedelics is not required. What we do ask is a willingness for self-inquiry, openness, and respect for yourself and the group.

A short intake call is required before participation to establish mutual fit and a grounded starting point. Jerry also offers optional 1-on-1 preparation and integration sessions to further support your process. This is especially recommended for those newer to psychedelic work.

ABOUT THE LOCATION & COMMUNITY

Our day ceremony takes place at Het Verre Oosten, nestled in the green heart of the Dutch countryside near Wijhe, just a short distance from Zwolle. Het Verre Oosten is a retreat center held by a vibrant community devoted to conscious living, relational depth, and integration in everyday life.

Het Verre Oosten offers the possibility to arrive the evening before the ceremony or to rest afterward by staying the night. Especially if you do not have previous experience with ceremony, we recommend staying overnight or arranging transport after the day.

ABOUT THE TEAM

JERRY
Jerry holds the structural container for this work while collaborating closely with Nicky, Mark, and Evelien. He has a background in social work and experience guiding hundreds of people through diverse transformational processes. Jerry brings a grounded, trauma-aware, and relational approach to psychedelic facilitation, breathwork, somatic bodywork, and Jungian-informed inner work. Guided by the belief that people don’t need fixing but space to meet themselves honestly, he draws from a lineage of practice that is both ethical and deeply human.

NICKY
Nicky is a relational psychologist, breathwork coach, and lover of ritual and ceremony. Free-spirited at heart, she is devoted to supporting the world into a more relational and loving place. She brings together academic wisdom from her background in clinical neuropsychology with a deep attunement to the body and the natural world. As a dedicated space holder, both within and beyond ceremony, she feels honoured to serve from her heart to yours.

MARK
Before creating Het Verre Oosten, Mark worked as a producer in the event industry. If something needs to be organized, he is always there for you. His credo is “Have Trust,” and caring for others comes naturally to him. Through psychedelic ceremony and men’s circles, he has learned that true care begins with caring for oneself. Mark brings ease and grounded presence into the ceremony, holding space in a relaxed, open, and non-judgmental way.

EVELIEN
Evelien has a deep passion for self-discovery and for connecting with inner essence. With her warm guidance and sparkling sense of humor, she creates a safe and welcoming space where you are invited to come home to yourself. At Het Verre Oosten, she offers cacao ceremonies, sound journeys, tantra courses, and many other nourishing experiences. During the ceremony, Evelien supports the process through sound journeys and songs, gently accompanying the unfolding of the day.

♡ If the intake process shows that participation is not a good fit at this time, your ticket will be fully refunded. Your wellbeing and safety always come first.
