~ Community Day By Surya ~

By Surya is a multifunctional community space in Groningen for shared use — a warm and cozy place for connection, inspiration, creativity, and possibilities.
The space is suited for workshops, artistic projects, movement, group sessions, co-working, and community-focused activities. It offers a homelike atmosphere where people can come together to create, explore, and collaborate.

With this Community Day, we would like to give you a taste of the kind of activities that take place at By Surya. You can get to know us and our (growing) team of facilitators and space holders: Dhalai, Marije, Germa, Lana & Nathan. We we will introduce ourselves and what we offer and happily take you with us during a connecting, playful and magical day!

13.40 Walk-in, tea & connection
14.00 Opening of the Year - ritual with cacao* & intention setting meditation
15.00 Movement & breathwork
16.00 Connecting & playful activity

16.30 Open space to connect & chill > option to join us from here!
17.30 Group meditation
18.00 Shared dinner - we serve soup & bread, bring your own extra food (to share)!
19.00 Live music & singing
21.00 End of the day

This is a DONATION BASED event - choose a donation that feels right for you to join this community day and its activities. You can choose to donate more at or after the event as well.

*For getting a cup of a cacao to drink with the opening ritual (optional), we ask for a small contribution of 3 euro. Instead of drinking cacao, we can also offer you a cup of tea :)
