Join us again at Vogelfrei for an evening rave edition with DJ Laura Jayne!
What exactly evening raves are, we are organically discovering and figuring out as we go. After the previous 3 evening editions, we can tell you it's not your classic Ecstatic Dance set. The evening asks for some different energy than fluffy, easy Sunday mornings :) It contains the waves that take you on a continuous journey with highs and lows and many genres.
Expect more of a clubby vibe with more bass, carried by another live projection set by our VJ Rolf, the visual hacker.
DJ Laura Jayne, who will transform into alterego 'Lauda' on evenings like these, will take you on a ride together with her DJ buddy Dirk, where they blend their love for electronic ambient soundscapes, dub, dancehall, warm Afro / Brazilian / UK funk, synths and beats, drum 'n bass with some nostalgic 90's / 00's fun.

19:30 Opening session with embodiment exercises
19:50 Evening Rave with DJ Laura Jayne
21:50 Closing circle + Chill out
22:20 Time for goodbyes
PRACTICALITIES
- During the dance there will be water and tea provided (please bring your own bottle!)
- Wear comfortable clothes to move freely in
- We encourage you to join from the whole experience, please be on time
- Space holders are present for your needs
- Bring earplugs if you feel you are (more) sensitive to sound, it can get loud
- Our events are for people from the age of 18
- No refunds or rescheduling possible
- Please note that if an event is sold out, the only way to get a ticket still is through TicketSwap
WHAT MAKES THE EVENING RAVE FEEL LIKE AN 'ECSTATIC'?
An invitation to check in with yourself, to dance, move, enjoy & simply flow and let go. Out of your head into your body. We do this by not talking on the dance floor to stay out of the chit chat, feel connected to the ground by dancing without shoes and not using any substances such as alcohol or drugs. The dance space is a phone-free area where you can completely let go.
