Swamping is a specially designed ritual for women. You can read about it in the book “PUSSY” by Regena Thomashauer. Swamping is not just another emotional release ritual.
It especially uses the power of sisterhood, because while half of the women are fully allowing their emotions to come, no filter, full permission to make the inner world become visible on the outer world without it needing to be ‘pretty, the other half of the women are surrounding, witness, cheerleading, encouraging and inviting the full expression of the fantastic life force energy that comes through. Your rage is beautiful, your joy is beautiful, your grief is beautiful, your everything is pure life force energy and you are the channel.

𝐖𝐇𝐘 𝐃𝐎 𝐖𝐄 𝐍𝐄𝐄𝐃 𝐓𝐇𝐈𝐒?

As you can guess, energy wants to move, like a river. When we block the river (swallow emotions) and not allow them to finish the E-nergy in MOTION to finish it’s cycle, it does not just disappear. It get’s stored somewhere in our bodies. This stuckness is actually costing us energy, our most valuable currency: our radiance! We get numb, lose vitality, harden, the energy even solidifies into actual disease when the stuckness is very severe or stays for a long time.

This session is not a one-time fix all. Your steps might be small. It is a process that takes patience, and going at your own pace. Maybe witnessing other women in their emotions is already enough for you in the first session. This is not about performing big, it is about following your inner truth and tuning into the wonderful wisdom of your body…

Sofia is the main-organizer of the “Womb & Heart Collective”. She is passionate about embodiment, sensuality, releasing stuck emotions, exploring feminine and masculine energies and gently shedding off the layers that keep us lonely.
She is not here to fix you, she is here to be that Loving presence in which you can feel safe to allow the wisdom of your body to speak and bring you closer to your innocent being within. Sofia is a Tantra inspired facilitator working with Embodied Shadow work, constellations among others, to ease your process of remembering and reclaiming. She feels a deep calling to create a space where women can come together, to rupture together, to invite the realness & aliveness that the modern society has condition us to compromise.

𝐈𝐛𝐭𝐢𝐬𝐬𝐚𝐦 𝐃𝐚𝐫𝐤𝐚𝐨𝐮𝐢

Ibtissam is passionate about what it means to be a woman and how we can connect deeply to our feminine essence.
She discovered yoni steaming as a deeply nourishing, empowering ritual to reconnect with the body, clear blockages and awaken our feminine power. This practice is not a modern trend — it has been used for centuries by women across the globe, from Africa, Europe and Asia to Central America and the Middle East, as a sacred part of feminine care.
With her offering of Yoni steaming she will be guiding you back to the foundation of you womanhood, along side yoni steaming there will be space for connecting with the womb and massaging your womb with a nourishing oil.
Do not worry, we wear long, wide skirts or dressed and we are covered during the steaming ritual!

𝐇𝐎𝐖 𝐓𝐎 𝐏𝐑𝐄𝐏𝐀𝐑𝐄 𝐅𝐎𝐑 𝐓𝐇𝐈𝐒 𝐒𝐄𝐒𝐒𝐈𝐎𝐍?

𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐭𝐨 𝐰𝐞𝐚𝐫?
Go for comfort. This is a place you can show up in clothes you can move in easily, lay on the ground with. It is handy to not wear any makeup because that might be in the way of allowing emotions. It is an invitation to show up as raw & natural as you are comfortable with, and experience that you are so loved in that state. No need to pretend or perform here…

𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐭𝐨 𝐛𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠?
It is handy to bring a small towel and warm socks. Bring something nice to eat and drink to share with your sisters during the potluck lunch!

𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐢𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐥𝐨𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧?
This location is an old theatre building in a small village next to Hoofddorp. It is an anti-squatting property that we can use until the building will be demolished. Good news, since it was a theatre: amazing acoustics and sound isolation. Imagine doing voice liberation, emotional release without needing to hold back your sound because of ‘neighbors’. This space is perfect for embracing your bigness!
(This is not the farmhouse location where the "One Day Women's Retreat" is held, but a different one!)

𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭?
Upon acquiring your ticket, you will receive a WhatsApp link for carpooling, a phone number for booking public transport on demand (needs to be booked since the normal busses do not run in the weekend) or instructions for “OV-fiets” from Hoofddorp station.

𝐓𝐢𝐜𝐤𝐞𝐭𝐬?
The tickets are non-refundable. You can transfer them to another woman or to another session within 6 months from the booked ticket. For both transfer options you need to inform the organization at least 24 hour before the session starts.
