An emotional literacy & embodiment workshop for women
A three hour introduction workshop honouring the endless devotion mothers give while exploring the deeper information beneath this role and the often overseen million things a mother does all day.
In this workshop, Sybille Biedert from Embodied Freedom, invites mothers to research on the common belief that being a 'good' mom means constant self-sacrifice - the ongoing abandonment of one's own needs to give to others. Together, women explore an alternative: What if a 'good' mom is actually one who takes space for herself? Who puts on her own gas mask first, allowing her family to fully experience their feelings while she becomes her own best friend or connects often with the women around her?
What if motherhood doesn't mean that all your dreams and creative passions have to pause or come at last?
Sybille draws from her own discoveries that endlessly giving herself did not create the respect and results she longed for with her two sons. This realization started a long and painful research how to take care of herself first. From her discoveries she offers fresh possibilities for young mothers and mothers of teenagers. Together we explore that holding clear boundaries and caring for her own space early on creates the respect women deserve from their family.
This workshop is a nurturing space to embody motherhood new - not as self-abandonment , but as self-empowerment that ripples through the whole family.
