A unique yin yoga experience at Volkshotel. This 1.5-hour class will be a journey of self-discovery, as you explore the deeper layers of your being.

Mareille and Niek will guide you through this practice with their common inspiration: the sea. You’ll get to relax and let your emotions flow like waves, allowing yourself to go wherever they take you. Live guitar music by Niek Stronks will add an extra layer of tranquillity to this special yin yoga experience.

Niek Stronks
Niek Stronks is a talented guitarist who provides musical accompaniment during this yin yoga event. He received his musical education at the conservatory and went on to earn a Master’s degree in Music Therapy. His intention for this music is to showcase the power of music to allow people to disconnect from the busyness of life, and reconnect with what’s going on for them internally. The ocean is a major source of inspiration for Niek, as he uses its sounds to create a relaxing and meditative atmosphere during his performances.

Mareille Outshoorn
As the creator of VolksYoga, Mareille brings her own unique style to the mat, infusing each class with love, presence, and a nurturing touch. Suitable for all levels, her yin yoga classes are a journey of self-discovery and inner peace. Inspired by the powerful yet gentle movements of the ocean, Mareille will guide you through a practice that will leave you feeling grounded and rejuvenated. With her warm and inviting energy, she is dedicated to pampering each and every one of her students, making them feel welcome and at home on the mat.
