Seeds of Spring:
A Creative Workshop for Renewal and Growth
Paint and Sip

Join me on April 10 at Loongboi, my art studio located in IJburg; for a guided painting session designed to spark your personal vision for the season ahead.

This intimate gathering lets you craft a one-of-a-kind piece reflecting your own journey and intentions.

There are 13 spots available for this workshop.

Doors open at 18:45.

Upon arrival, you’ll dive right in by laying down a background color. As it dries, we’ll circle up for a drop in. Connecting into group energy and tuning into our intentions for the evening and the seasons to come.

Before you arrive, consider:

What seeds are you planting this spring?
What do you want to nurture?

If you’re still unsure, no worries— inspiration often blooms in the moment.

We’ll explore color, emotion, and composition together.

I’ll introduce two distinct painting techniques: Alla Prima (a direct, expressive approach) and my contemporary take on Mischtechnik—an old masters’ method combining underpainting with translucent glazes to build depth and luminosity.

Wine and tea will flow, and no prior experience is required—just bring yourself.

Workshop 19:00-21:00
Open studio chill out till 23:00

The location is strange, thats part of what makes this fun!
You will enter through the door that will be left propped open for you,
Take the stairs up, up, and up some more.
You'll arrive to an open door, follow the hallway down and you'll reach the studio.

See you there!
