UNDERSTANDING & HEALING THE FAMILY ARCHETYPES
On this Sunday one-day intensive workshop - set in a beautiful chapel of Eemklooster - we will access the power of our Ancestors. Discover how the energies of your lineage can become a wellspring of strength, wisdom, healing, and protection. Every family system carries powerful influences that shape our lives—some empowering, others limiting.
Join us as we explore the invisible patterns passed through generations. Learn to identify family "spells" that may be holding you back, and harness the positive forces waiting to be unleashed.
Through this transformative journey, unravel family mysteries and release blocked potential, allowing the true magic of your ancestral line to flow freely into your life.
In this workshop, we will explore some of the dynamics of ancestral influence in our lives, explore the archetypes and how they influence us, and, most importantly, we will integrate this work through experiential Breathwork sessions.
HOLOTROPIC BREATHWORK
This workshop will give an unique opportunity to experience the technique of Holotropic Breathwork. Holotropic breathwork is a deep dive into the transpersonal realm, this style of breathwork connects us into the innermost and cosmic self. Sessions last three hours.
This breathwork technique is a powerful practice that uses intensified breathing, evocative music, and deep inner exploration to unlock emotional release, expand consciousness, and facilitate profound healing of past trauma. In a safe and supportive space, participants are guided through a journey of self-discovery, energy shifts, and deep integration.
No prior experience needed—just an open heart and breath.
DURING THIS BREAHTWORK INTENSIVE, WE WILL:
- Explore the positive qualities, "shadow sides" and “family spells" inherited from our ancestors
- Work with archetypes for understanding of our ancestors for deeper insight into family patterns
- Discover hidden qualities and talents of our archetypal potential
- Let go of the old charges and belief systems, in order to heal ancestral trauma.

This workshop is suitable for participants with experience in meditation and breathwork, as well as for participants who are new and wants to learn and experience more about Breathwork and Shamanism.
The workshop is held in English. If needed, a Dutch translation can be provided.

ABOUT JACQUES THERON
Jacques was born in Australia in 1971 and has since lived in South Africa, France, and currently resides in Brazil. His journey has been one of continuous exploration, transformation, and deep inquiry into both the material and the spiritual realms. Academically, he holds degrees in Architecture (B.Bdg.A), Psychology/Languages (B.A), and French Literature. In addition to his formal studies, he has extensively explored astrology, the Tarot, mythology, hypnosis, and a variety of healing modalities.
Since 1996, Jacques has been working as a Breathwork Facilitator. Conscious breathwork has been a powerful tool of transformation in his own life, leading him to train as a Rebirther and later explore various breathwork styles. He facilitates breathwork in group settings and private sessions, both in person and online.
A deep influence in his life and work comes from shamanic practices, particularly those he studied in Brazil and Peru. The ancient medicine paths, earth wisdom, and spiritual mysteries are an integral part of his personal development and something he shares with others through his teachings, workshops, and retreats. His focus is to facilitate inner transformation that translates into concrete shifts in day-to-day life, fostering well-being, purposeful existence, and spiritual growth.
Beyond his healing work, Jacques is also an artist. Since adolescence, he has studied art history, spent time in galleries, and refined his painting techniques. Art is both a centering practice and a spiritual expression for him. He conceived and illustrated the Classical Mythology Deck.
Another defining aspect of his journey is pilgrimage. His deep love for the Camino de Santiago-de-Compostela in Spain has led him to walk this sacred path 15 times since 2001, both alone and while guiding groups. He sees pilgrimage as a metaphor for life—an ongoing journey of learning, surrender, and transformation.
Currently based in São Paulo, Brazil, Jacques leads regular workshops, ceremonies, and retreats worldwide, including in the US, South Africa, Brazil, Asia, and Europe. His commitment to spiritual growth is a lifelong path, and his passion is to share the wisdom he has gathered to facilitate transformation in others.
