Over dit evenement
Come and celebrate the Spring Equinox with us!
Raïfa Bazzi and Cristian OC Balam welcome you to set new intentions for the birth of Spring.
Connect with your new reality, yet remember ancestral knowledge to accelerate on your path in life.
As winter gently fades, we gather to welcome the arrival of spring.
Inwardly, we let go of the last remnants of winter, creating space to invite fresh, new energy.
We do this guided through meditation and movement. Little by little, we open up the space and ourselves, allowing this energy to flow freely throughout the room.
With curiosity and openness to one another, we continue to share our collective prayer in this space, with the wisdom of Traditional Mexican steps, connected with nature and all the elements.
We channel all this shared energy towards the altar, charging it with intention.
Now, with the energy heightened, we take time to integrate the experience—moments of silence, accompanied by the sounds of nature.
We emerge renewed, sharing songs and celebrating the vibrant new energy we have cultivated together in a singing circle.

Introduction team
Raïfa Bazzi is a professional dancer, teacher, and a facilitator in Intuitive Movement sessions.
She started as a dancer in theatre, working for choreographers and creating her own solos, in which she translated deep subjects of life into movement. She is not afraid to step into the depths of feelings and emotions, seeing vulnerability as a strength. She translates this in movement, showing all the colours of being human, while being deeply connected with the Divine energy of the cosmos. It moves through her, and in this way, she can ground the wisdom that is around and inside of her. Knowing that this is available for everyone, she encourages people to explore this depth in themselves.
In her Movement sessions, she welcomes everyone; dance experience is not required at all!
Raïfa guides you into your own body language and has created tools for over the past 10 years in her teachings from dance, yoga, meditation, and now created her own language, that by life and its experiences, keeps on evolving. She is strongly connected to her intuition to guide the sessions, so she can tune into the people’s energy and see what is needed and move the energy in the right directions. Whether in movement or silence, she loves to create a safe space for people to melt in.
While working as an artist, she went into the world of conscious festivals and gatherings, sharing her medicine with movement and sound. She explored different parts and cultures of the world and stepped into beautiful co-creations. Some examples:
Estas Tonne in Dreamersland Poland (twice), Rotterdam (Luxor Theatre), and Prague (Divadlo Hybernia)
Sharing the stage with Uria Tsur, Nick Barbachano, Janax Pacha, Orka, Gooral
Performances with Mose (Amsterdam, Medicine Festival London)
Movement Meditations in the Netherlands (Utrecht, Tilburg)
Movement Meditation workshop in Dreamersland Poland
Fire ceremony at the Gardens of Babylon (Amsterdam)
Diving into the Mexican Tradition and co-creating for events in Poland and Mexico.

Cristian Hernandez Omar Chable - OC BALAM is a professional dancer, teacher, and facilitator with a profound connection to his ancestral roots. Originally from Tabasco, Mexico, Cristian has been a dedicated traditional dancer for over 15 years, deeply rooted in the cultural and spiritual practices of his heritage. His expertise spans across Toltec and Anahuac philosophy, blending these teachings with his artistic expression. As a dancer, he translates deep life philosophies into movement, offering a visual narrative of his culture, beliefs, and connection to the world. He is a skilled musician of indigenous and traditional instruments. Through the resonant sounds of drums, flutes, and other instruments he weaves a rich auditory experience that complements the healing process. His music, like his movement, is a sacred tool for transformation and connection.
Cristian is also a practitioner of Temazcal, the traditional steam bath ritual, where he guides others through powerful healing and purification ceremonies. This practice is a way to release emotional and physical blockages, connecting people to the earth and their own deeper truths.
Throughout his journey, Cristian has shared his work at conscious festivals and gatherings, where his dance, music, and rituals have reached people from all walks of life. Such as Dreamersland in Poland and Summer Dream Open Air festival in Germany.

Raïfa and Cristian met in Dreamersland and at the grand finale of the night, they moved together on stage with live music. From this came curiosity towards each others movements, philosophy and wisdom. With Cristian as a traditional, strucural mover and Raïfa as a more intuïtive contemporary influenced mover they combine their knowledge. It feels like a coming home together, from two worlds into one. In Mexico they did a Ritual Performance for musician Fransisco Del Olmo Diaz. In Mexico and in The Netherlands they started to create for a performance. Now this gathering will be their first event organized by themselves in the Netherlands.
If you feel the calling, we warmly invite you to join us to celebrate this beautiful gathering!
